The Virtue of "Babes" in Christ

The pride of Lucifer

This is Lucifer, the super angel, who wanted to be on a par with God.

Isa 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground...”
Ezek 28:2 “...Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas[Isa. 43:16],  yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God.”   Eze 28:13  “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond...”

Because of pride, Lucifer turned himself to Satan now also called the Devil, the Old Serpent, the great Dragon who for such folly, he tempts people to follow him for “misery loves company.”

Rev 12:9 “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Satan tempted Job with ruthlessness and harsh means but failed. During the time of our Lord, Satan changed his tactics on the Scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees, and priests. He showed his “as the heart of God” with “empathy and righteousness” and this attracted many people.

2 Cor 11:14 “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness...”

The kind of righteousness these religious leaders showed the people was different from what our Lord preached. Theirs was simply based on the “letter” of the word:

Rom 10:2 “For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3  For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.”

The kind of righteousness the Scribes, doctors of the law, and Pharisees preached was only for “cleanliness on the outside of the cup and platter” (Matt. 23:25). To them, our Lord saw the “heart lifted up” for self-importance, conceit, and haughtiness. All these caused the downfall of Lucifer, bracketed together as human wisdom, or “rich in sprit.”

The “adults”

1 Cor 1:19  “...I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20  Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?”
1 Cor 3:18 “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19  For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”

Jesus Christ saw the foolhardiness of the “adults” which He revealed to His Disciples and Paul in:

Luk 6:39 “And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?”
1 Cor 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

The humility of God

For God, He reversed what Lucifer did. The Almighty and omnipotent God manifested Himself in the flesh to show the example of true spiritual humility:

1 Tim 3:16 KJV “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit...”
Mat 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Phi 2:6  “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself...”

Jesus Christ taking the role of eldest Son of God, showed the way to humility:

Joh 5:19  “...Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do...”
Luk 18:18  “And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19  And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.”   Jesus saw His example of humility in His Disciples. Who were Simon Peter and his brother Andrew, John and James, all simple fishermen of Bethsaida, Matthew and Sacchaeus, both notorious tax collectors; Simon called Zelotes, a political activist, and Mary Magdalene a dishonorable adulteress, compared to the religious elite in their time? These are the “poor in spirit.”

The “babes”

Mat 11:25  “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.”
Isa 28:9 KJV “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.”
2 Tim 3:15  “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

“The adults and the babes”

The distinction is clearly shown between the “adults and babes” when our Lord went to the temple and saw how the merchants peddled sheep and doves. “He made a scourge of small cords and drove them all out of the temple, poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables” in utter disgust. The Jews on seeing this asked Him by what authority could He do this?

Joh 2:19  “Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

From this incident, Christ saw the characteristic pride of Lucifer on the “adults” and His spiritual humility in the “babes” among His listeners:

“The adults” – The Jews, thinking they could understand the message of Jesus with the use of their own Hebrew language, said:

Joh 2:20  “...Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?”

To these people, before the chief priests, elders, and all the council, this understanding was even used to indict our Lord that led to His death on the cross:

Mat 26:60  “...many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, 61  And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.”

The “babes” – Christ’s Disciples waited for His explanation knowing that He alone could explain the meaning of His words. It turned out to be a “demonstration.”

Joh 2:21  “But he spake of the temple of his body. 22  When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.”

The “acid” (spiritual) test in our time

Jesus Christ quoting one of the Ten Commandments and told His listeners:

Exo 20:12  “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.” Mat 15:4 “For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.”

In another instance, Jesus Christ as if contradicting Himself told His listeners:

Luk 14:26  “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”

“The adults”

Again by demonstration, our Lord exposes the two classes of listeners. The “adults” would read the Holy Bible by verses and taking the context of the story from where they draw their conclusion.

Mat 10:37  “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me...”

Thus, their explanation:

“I think the answer is "first priority". We have to put service to God first, above everything, above every relationship, even before the will of our parents. Yes, we must honour our father and our mother. But if they are a hindrance to serving God, meaning they do not allow you to serve God in Spirit and in truth but instead they drag you into idolatry, then the second scripture is applicable. That's how simple it is.”

"God must have first place in your heart, first place in your life, first place in everything that you do or what you are. God must be first. He doesn't want the second place. He doesn't deserve the second place. He deserves the best, and the first, and all that we got. He deserves it. Blessed be His holy Name. Oh, we need to seek the will of God, not the favor of your neighbor, not the favor of your children, not the favor of your husband or your wife; but seek the will of God. You do that first. Then everything else, the will of the wife and the will of the children, will fall right in with it. But place God first.”

“Christ never meant to hate your parents, but to love what Jesus said more than anyone else in what they said, including your parents. Remember what Jesus saying about He came not to send peace, but rather a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter against her mother in law, and a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”

The “adults” missed the point. It concerns love and hate, and not just loving more or loving less. The “adults” cannot accept the following that as God is a Spirit, and He represents Himself with His words, so are His “words spiritual” or in parables.

Eze 20:49  “Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?”
Psa 78:2  “I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old.”

Everybody reads this in the Holy Bible!

Mar 4:34 “But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.”
  • Did Jesus speak except in parables?
  • Were Peter, John, James, Paul,  other apostles and Disciples authorized to expound on the word?
  • Can modern apostles claim this authority to explain the words that are expressed in parable?

“The babes

The “babes” with humility, totally submit to the direction of our Lord as He did to His Disciples:

Luk 24:49  “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

Thus, “not leaning unto their own understanding” (Prov. 3:5) simply wait for God’s way in reading the Holy Bible:

Isa 28:10  “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.”

“Honour thy Father”

The “babes” would not attempt to comprehend what our Lord said regarding “honour thy father,” but wait for our Lord to reveal the real “Father” in the following:

Mat 23:9  “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”   Very clearly, “father” refers to the One True God whom the chosen have clearly identified by divine revelation:

Very clearly, “father” refers to the One True God whom the chosen have clearly identified by divine revelation:

Mat 16:15 “ He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16  And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”
Joh 8:19  “...Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.” Joh 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” Mat 11:27  “...no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” 1 Cor 12:3  “...and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”

In effect, the command “honour thy Father” refers to the following:

Mark 12:30  “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”

Accordingly, “to honour thy Father” refers to several commandments in The Ten Commandments all pertaining to God introducing Himself and His demand to love Him, for having delivered them from “spiritual” slavery.

Examples of “Dishonouring Father”

Judas Iscariot, a chosen and an apostle of Christ, we all know how he sold our Lord for 30 pcs. of silver. But more than this was when he “dipped his finger in the dish” of our Lord.

Mar 14:18 “And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me. 19  And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I? 20  And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.”

This sin of Judas is like that of Lucifer who wanted to be on a par or on the same level with our Lord. For the real Christians, very clearly stated in Mark 4:34 that only our Lord can “expound on His words that are expressed in parables.” Therefore, taking this authority is like “dipping the finger in the dish.” Look where “dishonouring the Father” ends:

Act 1:16  “Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 17  For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18  Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
Heb 6:4  “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5  And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.”

As it is written, “he that curseth father...let him die the death” and that is what happened to Judas. No wonder the chosen are very careful not to explain the great spiritual message of the “letter” of the word – only God by divine revelation:

1 Cor 2:13 “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”
2 Pet 1:20  “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”

“Prophecy of the scripture” is the words of God in the Holy Bible that are being fulfilled, not with the “letter” that the Natural Man understands, but spiritually:

Mat 5:18  “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
Mat 24:35  “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

“Honour thy mother”

The “babes” would not venture to know who the “mother” is in the command. God gives the clue identifying “her” in the following. The “mother” is the “wife of God.”

Jer 3:14  “Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.”
Isa 54:5  “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name...”

As revealed the “mother” is composed of the chosen themselves to whom “God is married.” “Mother” therefore is actually a “wife-children” relationship with God. Who can understand this? This must really be foolishness to the Natural Man:

1 Cor 2:14  ‘But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

In effect, the command “honour thy mother” therefore is the commandment in:

Mark 12:31 “And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”

Example of “Dishonouring the mother”

Since the “mother” is composed of the chosen, one good example is King Saul a chosen of God. David who killed Goliath is likewise a chosen of God. When the people looked up at David for his victory, King Saul became envious of David:

1 Sam 18:7 “And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. 8  And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?”
1 Sam 18:9 “And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.”

On several occasions King Saul wanted to kill David. But look at the end of “dishonouring the mother.”

1 Sam 31:4 “Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith... But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.”

After revealing the “father and mother” and explaining the meaning of “honouring and cursing them,” a violation of this command means “death,” physical as it is written but more than the “letter” is spiritual death in the Lake of Fire.

Mat 15:4 “For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.”

Who can now question God for the penalty of death for the violation of the command?

Rev 2:11  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 21:8  “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

“Hating the father”

Luk 14:26  “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother... he cannot be my disciple.”

The “babes” would “tarry” or wait for God to reveal the “father” that should be hated in the foregoing command. Jesus said:

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He ...abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Who would not want to hate the DEVIL? Would the Scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees, Priests and those people who do not know God admit they loved Satan? Because of “spiritual blindness” they did not know that they loved him. This is because they did not recognize the God they professed to worship:

Joh 8:54  “...it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55  Yet ye have not known him...”

Today, many people claim to know Jesus Christ. But how many people accept this sharp rebuke of our Lord so as to humble themselves and be endowed with divine knowledge and wisdom as “babes?”

Joh 8:19  “Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.”

Don’t we hear people claiming to know Jesus yet declaring, “The infinite Father God is a mystery incapable of clear identification with the finite mind of man.”?  Does this make any difference from the Scribes and Pharisees and the Jews in general who do not know God? Because of spiritual blindness, what is unfortunate is that people claiming to love God actually it is their father, Satan, that love him instead.

“Hating the mother”

Who is the “mother” to be “hated with the father?” Again by divine revelation, if God is married to His chosen that know Him; so is the Devil married to the people who do not know the One True God. Let us not forget the “wife-children” relationship with the “father.” The “chosen” compose the “mother to be honoured,” so are the “called” ones comprise the “mother to be hated.” For many are called, but few are chosen (Mat 22:14).

God revealed “hatred to the mother” to Paul, formerly Saul of Tarsus before recognizing his Lord, in the following:

Eph 5:6  “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God...7  Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”
Prov 4:14  “Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.”
2 Cor 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

The “children” of Father and mother worthy of honor

God as spiritual husband is planting His “seeds” (Luke 8:11 truth in the word) unto “His wife,” the chosen, to bear “children.” These are the “fruit of the Spirit.”

Gal 5:22 ‘But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23  Meekness, temperance...”

How could salvation be with “child bearing” in the language of man? But this refers to the “mother-children” relationship with God as spiritual husband.

1 Tim 2:15 “Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”

The “children” of the father and mother to be hated

Satan, the great counterfeiter, is likewise injecting his “seeds” to his wife, the called ones. His “seeds” is also the word of God. Satan showed this when he tempted our Lord in the desert citing Bible verses:

Mat 4:6  “And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

Satan quoted the following verses in the book of Psalms. But he could only understand the “letter” of the word:

Psa 91:11 “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

To Satan, “stone” simply means the inanimate object. He does not understand that “stone” refers to people (1 Pet. 2:4) that could not “dash” or frustrate our Lord. This is the challenge to the “adults” who rely on HUMAN WISDOM. They could not avoid simply taking the “letter that killeth.”

2 Cor 3:6  “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

Clearly therefore, the “able ministers of the new testament” are the “babes” in Christ. The “babes” see the distinction between SPIRITUALITY and MORALITY. The “adults,” because of spiritual blindness, cannot see the counterfeit, “love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance” taken only from the “letter” of the word. This is what our Lord saw in the Scribes and Pharisees who called them:

Mat 23:24  “Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. 26  Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.”

In the beginning, multitudes followed our Lord. But when He spoke “deep things of God” pertaining to SPIRITUALITY, many of them left Him:

Joh 6:60  “Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? 61  When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?”
Joh 6:66 “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.”

The multitudes, instead, followed the Scribes and Pharisees who spoke “their language” for what appears “clean on the outside” attracted people.

Joh 6:67  “Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?”
Joh 6:68  “Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69  And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”

To be noted is what Simon Peter said, “Thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God,” is the manifestation of his clear identification of Jesus Christ. Read the article:

JESUS OF THE ORIGINAL APOSTLES (http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php?module=articles&func=display&ptid=1&aid=81)

As it is written, only one hundred twenty (120) truly believed in our Lord and deserved to receive the Holy Ghost at Pentecost:

Act 1:15 “And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty.”

Jesus Christ who advocated the “unseen or spiritual” became an anathema to the people:

2 Cor 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Joh 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Is not “Jesus Christ, the TRUTH, the same yesterday and today?” Will the following pass away in our time?

Isa 53:1 “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. :3  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

Yes, who would “believe our report?” Many or only a few? Jesus Christ, the truth, is the “same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Lesson to the “babes”

Our Lord is not remiss in reminding His chosen of their pitfall. Using the same verse:

Luk 14:26  “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”

Again, who could explain this command that seemingly contradicts the commandment on love? Less we forget, our Lord is speaking in parables and He alone can expound on them – not anyone else. In the following God identifies these “relatives and self” as the soul!

Deu 13:6  “If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods...”

Needful to repeat, these “relatives and self” refer to the SOUL! The attributes of the soul are the intellect and feeling (soulishness). It is not enough to know the One True God and to love Him is another thing.

Exo 34:14 “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”

Looking up at a fellow believer in spiritual matter is “idolatry” in the eyes of God. The Natural Man cannot understand this:

Jam 2:9 “ But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.”

It is not only looking up at another, but to oneself above others as John and James did were sharply rebuked by our Lord:

Mar 10:35 “And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.36  And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 37  They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory. 38  But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask...”

Look how these two caused stumbling to the other Apostles:

Mar 10:41 “And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.”

Other things in life that would rob God of our attention or concern is idolatry.

Col 3:5  “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth...evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry.”

This does not mean that we have to forego the things needed for our PHYSICAL LIFE. Let us remember what is written long ago that our SPIRITUAL LIFE and PHYSICAL LIFE need to agree all the time:

Amo 3:3  “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

Salvation made easy?

This is only the fruit of human wisdom. Real believers are greatly saddened hearing professing apostles of Christ preaching “easy way of salvation.” But Peter saw otherwise:

Mat 19:25 “When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26  But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Truly salvation is attained only with the mercy of God, and this He grants to the “babes” in His sight.
