No Sign, But the Sign of Jonah

- Why were the Scribes and Pharisees still asking Jesus for "signs from heaven" when they were witnesses to His great miracles?

- Why did our Lord call them "adulterous generation" when they were known zealous followers of the Ten Commandments?"

- If the "sign of Jonah" is simply the three days and three nights of our Lord in the tomb, thereafter His resurrection, why do people who know this "sign" cannot agree on many things about God and His words, just as the religious people were divided at that time?

Subject: fasting
Brethren, Any revelation about the fasting in: Isaah 58:6 "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?" Isaiah 58:7 "Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?"

It is in “fasting” that God feeds His chosen. And being full, they could not help sharing to the “poor in spirit” the things they received from the Lord. Thus, the expected positive results in the eyes of God He says in Isa 58:6-7.
