Brethren, May we hear the revelation of the spirit of God in you pertaining to "whatsoever you will ask the Father in my name". What could be this "whatsoever" being mentioned hereunder that will be given/received when asked? John 16:23 "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. John 16:24 "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full".

I also have this question. This seems to be a “blanket” authority given to His chosen. I am thinking, could it be that our Lord in His role as SON, showing the example as model, encourages us to humble ourselves as He did before the Father? Then we could also do the things we have seen Him in the 4 gospels. Of course the Natural Man can never accept this for he could only perceive literal-physical things. This is just a hunch.

======================================================= John 16:23 "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. John 16:24 "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full". ======================================================= Brethren, the preceding verses encourage each household of God to ask in His name, then the assurance to receive what will be asked. I know that Brethren are aware that this is not a corporeal thing but spiritual for in: John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." John 4:23 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him." John 4:24 " GOD IS A SPIRIT and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and it truth." There are also related verses that say like the subject verses: Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12:31 "But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Are these two requirements to receive "whatsoever-everything" the same or different? How they are related to each other? 1) seek first the kingdom of God 2) Ask in His name "Seek ye first the kingdom of God". How can one seek the kingdom of God if his self is the kingdom of God as stated hereunder verse? Luke 17:21 " Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." Is this not the answer in the following verses? 1 Corinthians 3:16 "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" 1 Cor 6:19 "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not on your own." But how God can dwell within you? Below verses have something to say with that: John 14:23 “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 1 John 2:5 "But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him." John 15:10 "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. Therefore, keeping and abiding in His words/commandments will make Jesus (literal word) and Father (holy spirit) = the spiritual revelation of the written word which is the name of God dwells in chosen people of God. By that, you have sought and found the kingdom of God. Having done those in aforementioned verses, the confirmation of "whatsoever" the chosen of God asked in His name will be given: John 15:7 "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full".(John 16:23-24) In conclusion this is "whatsoever" that will be asked and will make the joy of the chosen full: John 15:11 "These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full The spoken things mentioned in John 15:11 John 15:8 "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples." John 15:9 "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love" John 15:10 "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." Which is also stated in: 1 John 1:4 "And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. The witten things mentioned in 1 John 1:4: 1 John 1:1 "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 1 John 1:2 "(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) 1 John 1:3 "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. Spoken and written things in one accord which are fellowship with the word (spiritual word) thru the son Jesus (the written word) and Father (Holy Spirit) giving the spiritual understanding on the literal word of God. In other word, this is wisdom on the spiritual word of God. Summed-up in: Philippians 2:2 "Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Validated in: 1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." Attested in: James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." James 1:6 "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." Brethren, I am sure that you have experienced that whenever the postings of other brethren is speaking the same thing as the Holy Spirit within you speaks, an overwhelming joy is bursting that make you feel like shouting. Also, when the spirit of the Lord within you whispering the spiritual message of His written word this makes you full of joy. The evident of joy of the babes in Christ (chosen/children of God) Psalms 25:37 “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. " Psalms 32:11 “Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart." Because Psalms 119:142 "Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth." Psalms 119:172 "My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness" =============================================================================== Brethren,Is this not enough encouragement and assurance from the one true God for everyone to have wisdom in His words whenever the spiritual meaning on His laws/commandments is being sought to feed His flock? So come one and all, avail or accept the invitation to ask anything(wisdom) in His name {(spiritual word=Jesus(written word) + the revelation by the spirit of God(Father)) if lacking to understand His words, but should be asked firmly in faith. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
