Subject: GOD's Words only
Isa 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. 2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 1Jo 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. Who among bible-believing and religious people do not believe that they belong to the “flock of the Shepherd?” Common sense dictates, why could these “not see eye-to-eye” on doctrines? A reminiscence of the Pharisees and Sadducees during the time of Christ. However when these sects meet our Lord and hears the truth, they ganged up on Him! This was also seen in the Acts of the Apostles. Did this truth pass away in our time? “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall never pass away,” says our Lord. Perhaps the most hated of all religious websites is where we are converging. Not a few instances was it tried to be blocked by hackers because we firmly don't believe on tithes (monetary or in kinds). Posted doctrines polluted by a puffed human literal self interpretations came and left staggerring because they couldn't bear GOD's SPIRITUAL Truth of HIS Words. I thought this must be sign for the warning of our Lord: JOH 15:20 REMEMBER THE WORD THAT I SAID UNTO YOU, THE SERVANT IS NOT GREATER THAN HIS LORD. IF THEY HAVE PERSECUTED ME, THEY WILL ALSO PERSECUTE YOU; IF THEY HAVE KEPT MY SAYING, THEY WILL KEEP YOURS ALSO. While “many” apply this to their person or group, God puts up “a wall” through His tests for spirits. Test I – Distinguishing the True Christ from the False Christ: 1 John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” People believing in the Holy Bible have different recognition of JESUS as prophesied: 2 Cor 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth ANOTHER JESUS, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive ANOTHER SPIRIT, which ye have not received, or ANOTHER GOSPEL, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. 1. Some say, “Jesus is only a man and not God” 2. Others say, “Jesus is only minor or mighty God for there is a Supreme or Almighty God. 3. Many say, “Jesus is both God and man, and He is the 2nd person of the Trinity.” 4. Still others say, “Jesus Christ is the name of the Father and the Holy Spirit.” Who is “Jesus Christ come in the flesh?” The Son, or the Father? Who made the testament of salvation, the Father or the Son? (Gen. 17:7) How is the testament of salvation fulfilled? (Heb. 9:16) Who fulfilled the testament? Who is Jesus of the Apostles? Test II – Exposing the Beast, or Satan, a Jesus-look-alike through his “voice” Rev 13:11 “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” How did Jesus expose the “voice” of the Dragon when He fasted 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness? Many people will be surprised that they speak and hear “voice” of the Dragon. Is this not the message for FASTING? Mat 4:1 “Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.” What did Satan, the Dragon, the Jesus-look-alike see in the fasting of Jesus? Simply the empty stomach of our Lord (literal). Mat 4:3 “And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.” How did Jesus expound the significance of His fasting? The spiritual message of His fasting. Mat 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Who initiates death (“letter” of the word or literal) and gives life (“spirit” of the word or spiritual) in the following? 2 Cor 3:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” Confirmation of the “voice of the Lamb.” Jer 15:16 “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart…” Literal or spiritual hunger and thirst? Amo 8:11 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.” Application of the “spiritual” for the “voice of the Lamb.” Isa 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free (John 8:32), and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor (Matt. 5:3) that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him (Isa. 61:10)…” The spiritual message of FASTING is to hunger for the TRUTH in the word. This is where we pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” God is liberal enough to supply our “spiritual food” and expects us: 1. To share the truth to the “oppressed or in bondage to go free.” Joh 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 2. To share our “spiritual bread” to the hungry: Mat 25:35 “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat.” 3. To pity the “poor in spirit” who are not yet in the household of God: Mat 5:3 “ Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Eph 2:19 “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God.” 4. To clothe the “naked.” Literal clothes, pants? Isa 61:10 “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation…” 2 COR 3:6 WHO ALSO HATH MADE US ABLE MINISTERS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT; NOT OF THE LETTER, BUT OF THE SPIRIT: FOR THE LETTER KILLETH, BUT THE SPIRIT GIVETH LIFE. For fear of being exposed as false apostles or prophets or pseudo-believers, “many” people are afraid to take the tests as if to hide their true spiritual color. There are to “Gods”: 1. The God of Abraham and Peter, God of the Holy Bible 2. The “god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4) The God of the Holy Bible is represented by His words in this book as it is written: Psa 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,)... If people do not accept this book, how can He relate to them? Since this God is relating to His Chosen through this book, how could they discuss things of this God of Abraham and Peter: 1. To people who do not accept this “volume of book?” 2. To people who do not submit to the authority of this “volume of book?” Is not God the totality of purely religious and spiritual matters? Isn't it that God is the only source of spiritual and religious matters? Isn't it that God supersedes all things? Isn't it? Does TRUTH really hurt? Undergoing several Tests scripted by man without real result is nothing compared to a firm belief and trust in the Lord God Almighty which yielded real result to experience the reality of God. It all boils down to whether we BELIEVE and SUBMIT to the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD. No belief in it? Therefore, NOTHING TO DISCUSS! Don’t submit to it? Then, CANNOT UNDERSTAND each other! We the real brethren up to this pont in time believed that this forum is purely on spiritual/religious matters. www.purechristianity.org

I agree almario...What is it about Mark 16:16 that you do not understand?

Hermeneutics is the science of interpretation, and Exegesis is the pratical appliance of the rules or principles of this science in determining the intended message of the author.
