Subject: "The SHEEP and the GOATS"
In the beginning when God created man in His own image (Gen. 1:27). This image of God refers to Jesus Christ, a physical being, called “Lamb of God” (John 1:29). So therefore man was in that image of a SHEEP. With the Fall and the separation of the Tree of Life from man, symbolizing the Spirit of God, man no longer is in that image of “sheep” but rather of “goat/s” (Matt. 25:32-33). Man’s salvation involves God’s making a testament that requires His death (Heb. 9:16), and therefore necessitated “His manifestation in the flesh” (1 Tim. 3:16 KJV). This is JESUS CHRIST performing two roles: 1. Role as FATHER GOD, He accepted worship and the titles Lord, Master, Rabbi or Teacher. 2. Role as SON, showing the example as model to the “poor in spirit” (Mat 5:3). Here we find Jesus fully submitting to the Father, who knows nothing, can do nothing, having a God, etc. (many verses in support). We find Jesus Christ, a Lamb (sheep) talking to the Jews with their religious leaders who did not recognize Him, and COULD NOT UNDERSTAND what He was saying. Jesus is a LAMB (sheep). The Jews, except Christ’s Disciples who qualified under Matt. 18:3 (as spiritual little children) and Matt. 11:25 (endowed with divine knowledge and wisdom) were CONVERTED into spiritual SHEEP. Jesus said: Joh 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? “Earthly things” – can the SHEEP communicate with GOATS? “Heavenly things” – can spiritual SHEEP (1 Cor. 2:15-16) communicate with spiritual GOATS? 1 Cor 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Participants in this DISCUSSION FORUM should ponder on this truth.
