Subject: "communication" and Spiritual call
I'm sorry with the contents of your last paragraph but I am not insisting to any one here to accept by force the things I am sharing with in this forum. Believe or disbelieve, the choice is to any one for we are the one who make our own destiny. Luckily enough, I thank the Lord that we all believe here that there is only one Lord God who is alive and real.    Truly I do believe in what you are saying that " And since God is Spirit " for the Lord God is spirit and truth.   But this one " and, therefore, had to represent Himself with His “written words,” then REVELATIONS and DIVINE MOTIVATION must come from the Holy Bible. Beyond this, it is the opportunity for Satan to deceive “many” people as he is doing." is very hard to find in any verse of the bible, be it in essence, in thought and in meaning for I know that God did not represent Himself in the whole bible through the written holy scriptures then available to the prophets and the apostles - Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever and Jesus is still the Good Pastor to all of us today and forever in the same manner that Jesus was the Good Pastor to all of the bible people . I don't want to magnify this any further and I just hope, as you said before, that one day we may be of one faith, consistent in all angles, in the Lord Jesus. I am sorry to say these things to you but this is my own personal conviction only and I do not mean to argue with you.     Thank you very much for the ample time you accorded to my posts and may God be with all of us always.    fil3232003 <bibletalk@purechristianity.org> wrote:
If we really believe that the Holy Bible contains the divinely inspired word of God: 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Pet 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. And since God is a Spirit and, therefore, had to represent Himself with His “written words,” then REVELATIONS and DIVINE MOTIVATION must come from the Holy Bible. Beyond this, it is the opportunity for Satan to deceive “many” people as he is doing: Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. No wonder we hear of APPARITIONS, STRANGE VOICES, and MESSAGES that are not in line with what “IS WRITTEN.” True, in order to deceive, to the unwary they urge people to “repent, pray, love each other, etc” which to God, if not based on the TRUTH warns: Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness... Adlemi, I hope you are amply warned of these great deceptions of Satan before it is too late. You are given the opportunity to confirm what you professed to have received as “revelations from ‘God’ through his audible voice, dreams, visions” with some articles in this website. Satan cannot refute the TRUTH as revealed with God’s “WRITTEN WORDS.” If you don’t heed this counsel, I am sorry to say this will be my last response to your posting/s.

Ezekiel 34:11 "For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out." Psalms 23:1 "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." It is the LORD that searches and seeks for His sheeps who, according to His foreknowledge, will be converted and be like "little children" after they have sinned and come short of the glory of God.   Response:   Yes, I do believe that the Lord is the One doing these things in our life. I shall not want because the Lord can provide and is really the only one providing all  our needs, be it in material things and in spiritual needs. What the bible can't give us, the Lord can give us.   Ezekiel 34:12 "As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day." Saul ( later named Paul) was once "in the cloudy and dark day" having no "light" to see or understand the spiritual language of God , and is therefore "dead" in the eyes of God . Because he was a "chosen from his mother's womb" , on the 9th. hour , this event occured: Act 9:3 "And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:" Notice that it says " and suddenly". What is this but bro. Porong's "thunder and lightning and with fire" and "putting in the mind" as "there shined round about him a light from heaven" . And this was the word that came unto Paul from the Lord: Acts 9:4 "And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?" Acts 9:5 "And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest..." To persecute the Lord (and His people as well) is not to accept and believe on the Truth. Paul knew it at once in that instance (remember Paul already have the "light" ) that everything about Jesus' being the God that manifested in the flesh is true; he, calling Him "Lord". Their "communication" can be compared to a person talking to himself. The Lord put " why persecutest thou me" in the minds of Paul, and the "remembrance of Jesus" played back into his mind.Did he or the men that were with him really heard a voice? NO! The men stood speechless because they were astonished and couldn't believe it that Paul was a "chosen" like them . It was said that they heard a voice because as in the "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased" that the apostle's said they heard it, it was just another way of saying that once a person is baptized "in the name of Jesus Christ", they knew it that God is pleased. It is the same in this case: they said they heard a voice but in reality, they just knew it that what is happening to Paul is that he is being called by the Lord at that moment. Ezekiel 34:13 "And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country." Ezekiel 34:14 " I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel." True to His words, the Lord after He have searched and sought Paul, He brought him to his own land (Acts 9:8), and was fed upon the mountains of Israel (Acts 9:18). Adlemi, these explanations from the Bible may not be sufficient for you to believe everything, but if you will consider that Paul was already a believer before the book of Acts was written, you will find out (especially if you will come to understand Paul's writings) that God really speaks in parables .....and there is no way you can find contentment unless you follow God's commandment of being a "little child". Then and only then you will understand that you are another Saul in the making?.........Should you or should you not be, like Paul?....... Response: Well, I do respect your perception best friend and I am not contesting it right now. I want you to know that my previous experience with the born again movements forced me to seek other means higher that what the bible can offer and to my surprise, I came to know that the Lord God Almighty is the only One, higher and above the bible. Let it be so for now so that we may still be friends eventhough there is a slight difference between us spiritually. Thank you very much for your concern and time in sharing this biblical thoughts and more over, your enthusiasm and intention of sharing God to your fellowmen. By the way, are you related to brother Almario?
