The Virtue of 'Babes' In Christ

- Who are the “babes” and “adults” in the eyes of Christ?

- How many people want the virtue of “babes” so as to be endowed with divine knowledge and wisdom?

- To whom do many people want to be identified with? To the “babes” or “adults?

Subject: "communication" and Spiritual call
GOD's Spiritual call on Saul: Act 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: Act 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Act 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Act 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. Act 9:8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man : but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus. Absolutely there's no human to human communication here. Saul while fallen down on to the earth trembling just fearfully asked and didn't even dare to talk back looking to the source of the voice directly. Very, very SPIRITUAL DIVINE CALL indeed to HIS little children only with spiritual ears to hear!!!!! It was not a casual direct personal voice to voice communication because GOD's Words of TRUTH that He spake were SPIRIT. John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. " It was not a casual direct personal voice to voice communication because GOD's Words of TRUTH that He spake were SPIRIT."   May you look at this as we are all in a classroom and you are the one doing the discussion in front of the class. Now that you are through with your explanation of the subject matter, the succeeding portion is question and answer. I do believe that in asking questions, students learn more than merely keeping silent and nodding at all times to the speaker inside the class. In this regard brother, may I ask you some questions on the above subject matter for purposes of clarification and not for any argumentation.   1.  Wasn't it that Saul heard a voice saying " Saul, Saul why persecutest thou me?"    2.  Wasn't it that Saul responded to the voice saying " who art thou, Lord?   3.  Wasn't it that the voice responded, too, to Saul saying " I am Jesus whom thou persecutest " ....   4.  Isn't it a fact that Saul is a human being (man) while on the other hand the Lord Jesus is the Lord God?   5. In the light of items 1 to 4 above, wasn't it that what transpired between Saul and the Lord Jesus then in the way to Damascus was a conversation between God and man similar to what happened to Moses, Abraham, Samuel, Jeremiah? They were all able to converse with God through voice to voice conversation although the real voice of the Lord God was not used for any one who hears the real voice or sees the real image of the Lord God will surely die. Angel was used to Moses in the burning bush but in a manner that it was the Lord who was speaking to Moses - same with what the brethren here are also saying that they are the speaker system of the Lord God. My point here is that when you hear the voice, you can ask something and the voice will respond directly to what you are asking - direct conversation.  6. I am just wondering with your statement " It was not a casual direct personal voice to voice communication because GOD's Words of TRUTH that He spake were SPIRIT" for the way I look at it, the Lord Jesus was personally conversing with Saul although not in His real voice. May you please enlighten me more in this area.   My apology to my previous post regarding this matter.

If we really believe that the Holy Bible contains the divinely inspired word of God: 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Pet 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. And since God is a Spirit and, therefore, had to represent Himself with His “written words,” then REVELATIONS and DIVINE MOTIVATION must come from the Holy Bible. Beyond this, it is the opportunity for Satan to deceive “many” people as he is doing: Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. No wonder we hear of APPARITIONS, STRANGE VOICES, and MESSAGES that are not in line with what “IS WRITTEN.” True, in order to deceive, to the unwary they urge people to “repent, pray, love each other, etc” which to God, if not based on the TRUTH warns: Rom 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness... Adlemi, I hope you are amply warned of these great deceptions of Satan before it is too late. You are given the opportunity to confirm what you professed to have received as “revelations from ‘God’ through his audible voice, dreams, visions” with some articles in this website. Satan cannot refute the TRUTH as revealed with God’s “WRITTEN WORDS.” If you don’t heed this counsel, I am sorry to say this will be my last response to your posting/s.

Adlemi, Ezekiel 34:11 "For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out." Psalms 23:1 "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." It is the LORD that searches and seeks for His sheeps who, according to His foreknowledge, will be converted and be like "little children" after they have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Ezekiel 34:12 "As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day." Saul ( later named Paul) was once "in the cloudy and dark day" having no "light" to see or understand the spiritual language of God , and is therefore "dead" in the eyes of God . Because he was a "chosen from his mother's womb" , on the 9th. hour , this event occured: Act 9:3 "And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:" Notice that it says " and suddenly". What is this but bro. Porong's "thunder and lightning and with fire" and "putting in the mind" as "there shined round about him a light from heaven" . And this was the word that came unto Paul from the Lord: Acts 9:4 "And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?" Acts 9:5 "And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest..." To persecute the Lord (and His people as well) is not to accept and believe on the Truth. Paul knew it at once in that instance (remember Paul already have the "light" ) that everything about Jesus' being the God that manifested in the flesh is true; he, calling Him "Lord". Their "communication" can be compared to a person talking to himself. The Lord put " why persecutest thou me" in the minds of Paul, and the "remembrance of Jesus" played back into his mind.Did he or the men that were with him really heard a voice? NO! The men stood speechless because they were astonished and couldn't believe it that Paul was a "chosen" like them . It was said that they heard a voice because as in the "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased" that the apostle's said they heard it, it was just another way of saying that once a person is baptized "in the name of Jesus Christ", they knew it that God is pleased. It is the same in this case: they said they heard a voice but in reality, they just knew it that what is happening to Paul is that he is being called by the Lord at that moment. Ezekiel 34:13 "And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country." Ezekiel 34:14 " I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel." True to His words, the Lord after He have searched and sought Paul, He brought him to his own land (Acts 9:8), and was fed upon the mountains of Israel (Acts 9:18). Adlemi, these explanations from the Bible may not be sufficient for you to believe everything, but if you will consider that Paul was already a believer before the book of Acts was written, you will find out (especially if you will come to understand Paul's writings) that God really speaks in parables .....and there is no way you can find contentment unless you follow God's commandment of being a "little child". Then and only then you will understand that you are another Saul in the making?.........Should you or should you not be, like Paul?.......
