Christ and Satan in Contrast

- Who would say, "I hate Jesus Christ and love Satan." Or, "I hate truth and love falsehood?"

- Perhaps nobody in his right mind would say that. However, Christ saw it in His time.

- The truth is, people do not know what they are saying.

Subject: The New Birth
"A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments and do them." Ezekiel 36:26,27.

[quote:4c19cfaae4="herald"]"A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments and do them." Ezekiel 36:26,27.
Before, when I was still subject to the rebuke of our Lord in the following: • Joh 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. I was very much convinced then that God gave me a “new heart” and a “new spirit” because the things of the world that used to attract me became less attractive. Therefore I devoted much time to our church activities feeling some peace in my life. Unknown to me, not until God opened my “eyes” to the things He hated, I continued doing them. Examples, why did I not realize the following abominations to His sight? • 2 Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. • Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. • 2 Cor 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. All along I thought I already trusted God regarding divine knowledge not until read: • Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Now, God giving me “a new heart and a new spirit” has a much deeper perspective. He gifted me with patience to listen to His DEMONSTRATION of the intended message from His words. The above is the best example.

After God “opened my eyes,” now I can see that the “new birth” is actually my transformation from the image of a “goat” to that of a “sheep.” This is evidenced by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in my life. I can say now I belong to the “flock of the Shepherd” Jesus Christ who is pictured as a Lamb. I can understand His “language,” the spiritual, and no longer the “letter” of the word. The “letter” that I tried to follow before involves sacrifices, that are impossible to obey all. • James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. • Mat 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. And following the “letter” simply cleanses the outside of the cup and platter that all ends in the cemetery, while the “spirit” of the word that are not seen lasts beyond the grave: • Mat 23:26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. • 2 Cor 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
