Confession of a Lost Sheep

- Like a lost sheep, I was drifting and restless anxiously looking for the Shepherd.

- Unknown to me, the Shepherd was calling my name.

- We met each other, and this is my joy relating what happened.

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. Dear brethren, Please share your Spiritual revelations for this verse. Literally interpreting this verse - GOD Who is all knowing would not create and afterwards felt sorry for what He did.

Literally interpreting this verse - GOD Who is all knowing would not create and afterwards felt sorry for what He did.
Yes, the letter of the word of God that the Natural Man (1 Cor 2:14) understands is very far from the intended meaning. We are always reminded of our Lord’s, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” To those who took the word literally, this is what we “hear" from them: • Joh 2:20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? • Mat 27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. To Christ’s Apostles/Disciples who rely on His exposition of His words: • Joh 2:21 But he spake of the temple of his body. • Joh 2:22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. Let us notice the effect of the conclusion from the two classes of listeners: • To those violating Prov 3:5 and “leaning unto their own understanding” -- it is negative. • To those who rely on the “divine revelation of the word,” it is positive, and it is for the glory of God. Can we not add to the subject God creating Lucifer who was above all angels? Instead of thanking and praising Him, Lucifer wanted to be equal with God: Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. (Also: Ezek 28:1-14) And more about God what He said and what is written: • Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. • Amo 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? How do the two classes of people take the foregoing? But to God’s servants, all these things are for their benefit: • Amo 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants… While many people know the following, do they really accept it? Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
