Subject: Mark 16:18
Brethren: I heard a preacher saying that Mark 16:18 is not originally included in the bible. It was only added by man since nobody can't drink poison and will not hurt or die. Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents and IF THEY DRINK ANY DEADLY THINGS IT SHALL NOT HURT THEM they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. May we know God's revelation on this? [quote:5e4c212cc6="mrwilson37"]Brethren: I heard a preacher saying that Mark 16:18 is not originally included in the bible.
This preacher seems to be even worse than many who take the “letter” instead of the spirit of the word. • 2 Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Satan actually can perform wonders, in some instances, confirming what is written literally. Are not many “wonders of healing” performed at Lourdes, France purportedly coming from Virgin Mary, and many professing apostles using the name Jesus Christ, benefiting the “flesh” or body? Our Lord said: • Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. This preacher is actually tampering with the Holy Bible literally “adding and deducting” from it. Worst kind of professing apostle. • Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. • Prov 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Mark 16:18 "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. =============================================== This is just a supplement to our Bethren posting: Brethren, we all know that God is speaking in parables in: Psalms 78.2 "I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:" Ezekiel 20:49 "Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?" "Serpent" found as written in: Revelation 1:12 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." It is known to brethren that devil/satan is the counterfeit of our Lord Jesus or the literal/physical word which is the first witness of truth becoming a lie in the absence of the second witness (the Holy Spirit). This is as written and uttered by Lord Jesus in: John 5:31 "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true." This is the same lie enticed Eve in eden to disobey God and because of that God declared the serpent as cursed in: Genesis 3:14 "And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:" From thereon everyone remained cursed as written in: Galatians 3:10 "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them." But with the love of God - He redeemed us by making Himself also a cursed as written in: Shadow: Numbers 21:8 "And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live." Realization: Galatians 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:" Summation and Confirmation: John 3:14 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:" John 3:15 "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Thus the children of God become: 2 Corinthians 3:6 "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; NOT OF THE LETTER, but of the spirit: FOR THE LETTER KILLETH, but the spirit giveth life." "Poison/deadly things" found as written: Deuteronomy 32:33 "Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps." What is wine according to the word of God? Is this not as written: Matthew 26:27 "And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; " Matthew 26:28 " For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."" 2 Corinthians 3:6 "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; NOT OF THE LETTER, but of the spirit: FOR THE LETTER KILLETH, but the spirit giveth life." With the foregoing verses wine symbolizes the -blood-spirit of Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, serpent and deadly things are the false documents/teachings of literal/physical words of God and spirit of natural man/false prophets that when encountered by the children of God can not affect or hurt by them anymore because of their clear recognition of the one true God. The evidence: Acts 28:3 "And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand." Acts 28:4 "And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. " Acts 28:5 "And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm."

Who can refute this great revelation coming from God through His words? This validates the following truth: 1 Joh 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. No wonder real Christians praise God through His words: Psa 56:10 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word. Psa 56:11 In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. This is the evidence only the “flock of sheep” can “hear the voice” (comprehend the spiritual message of the word) of the Shepherd” that John the Baptist introduced: Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. May we hear more from our beloved Shepherd through His chosen vessels.
