Confession of a Lost Sheep

- Like a lost sheep, I was drifting and restless anxiously looking for the Shepherd.

- Unknown to me, the Shepherd was calling my name.

- We met each other, and this is my joy relating what happened.

I have been visiting your website and became interested when I read some articles that, for me, are eye-openers. I hope you entertain some of my questions that I intend to ask. Example, how could you be sure that what you believe is the truth considering that you have just "sprouted" in our time? How about the rest of the people before you?

brdytylr, like you in the beginning, I also doubt the truth. But perhaps God helped me overcome my feeling for I know this is only an emotion that prevents me from following it.

Hi brdytylr, If you have read the statement of faith of this website, that is the foundation of the faith of its true members. If you found peace and edification with what you read that could only mean that you heard the voice of your shepherd. The scriptures will be the one to judge whether or not the truth is the one being professed here. 1 John 5:6 “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son (Isaiah 9:6) of God? Revelation 2:17 “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that recieveth it. 1 Corinthians 1:10 “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. Sprouted just this time? True members of this website only follows the way shown by the model (Jesus)(Romans 8:29) when He came into flesh (John 1:1, 1-14),(Matthew 1:23-Emmanuel) John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Romans 8:29"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. The rest of the people before us were among the one who recognized and followed the one true God (Jesus Christ) whose spiritual name is the literal word (written) of God + its revelation by the spirit of God wherein all of them speak the same thing and there is no division because they are perfectly joined in the same mind and in the same judgement (1 Corinthians 1:10).

That means He has foreknowledge of everything. He therefore knows who among people in the past, and the present time, who had and have complied with His standard of humility that our Lord Jesus enunciated in: Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Had these people in the past, at different places, and at present likewise in other places, known to many people? Let us remember history books are only confined to things of the world, and never do they touch about salvation, except citing the Holy Bible. What we read in history books are different religions and Christianity as it is divided into sects and denominations. Perhaps you based your question on what is exposed to man -- the things of the world that appeal to many. Therefore if you find the truth in us, could not God have revealed it also to other people at different times in different places? Let us remember God’s chosen are unheard of in history and in the different media today.

I suppose many people who have read some articles in this website have the same feeling. By the way, who among those who constantly read the articles had not this attitude in the beginning? For me, it is a choice between popular beliefs and what God says as truth in His words by demonstration. This must be His test for us for genuine trust in Him. I am reminded of the verse, “trust in the Lord and lean not unto our own understanding.”

Brethren, Bro. Ric wrote, "I am reminded of the verse, “trust in the Lord and lean not unto our own understanding.” Luke 16:24 "And he cried (the rich man) and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." The Bible said, "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." The rich man (or rich in spirit) called Abraham,"father." Is this not an indication that he, while on earth, was disobedient to God? Now, why did he say, "cool my tongue?" Micah 6:12 "For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth." Who was he, while he was still on earth? Luke 16:25 "But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented." Here, Abraham, addressed him "Son." Since the Son is the Way, definitely, the rich man was a "false Christ" not having the "mind of Christ." Luke 16:26 "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." The word of God is final: 2 Corintians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" Luke 16:27-31 "Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses (the Bible) and the prophets (the true sons of God); let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." God said, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (hebrews 9:27)."
