Subject: DEATH FROM ADAM TO MOSES
Following up the subject on Adam, I came across the following. I cannot understand how death, as a result of the sin of Adam and Eve, reigned only up to Moses. Here is the verse: Rom 5:14 “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.” I would appreciate hearing from you God’s revelation on the matter.

I hope this is God's revelation on the answer to the question. Taking the “letter” of the word, it would appear that death was only up to the time of Moses. Thereafter there was deliverance from death. Since God used Moses as His instrument of delivering the Israelites from slavery, the real message by taking the “spirit” of the word indicates “freedom from falsehood.” This therefore opened the door to eternal life. This is based on our Lord Jesus’: Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. This is just a supplement to Bro. Fil ‘s revelation on the subject. Adam to Moses represents period or era that the chosen of God were saved through their faith for there was no written word. God spoke through divine revelation. Take the case of Abel and Cain: Hebrew 11:4 “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. “ Genesis 4:4 “And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:” Genesis 4:5 “But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.” Cain just like the others, after the fall of man, with the same period wherein those who did not humble themselves to God – death reigned upon them as read in the preceding verses. They can not read, compare and know the will of God. They never had the chance to follow the path to tread towards God unless they will humble themselves to be given the faith. Isn’t it written? Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” Ephisians 2:8 For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” In 2 Corinthians, as Paul the apostle mentioned about the ministry of Moses: 2 Corinthians 3:7 “But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:” And in Romans 10:5 “For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.” Above verses are supplemented by: 2 Corinthians 3:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” Bear in mind that: Proverbs 21:16 “The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.” That was the time of Moses. This does not mean that Moses was among the spiritually dead because by faith through the revelation of God to the written law he was saved. Because as it is written: Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews. 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him It must always be remembered that: Ephesians 2:8 For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” And 1 Cor. 2:5 “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” It is also written of Moses that: Hebrew 8:5 "Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. Colossians 2:17 “Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.” Hebrews 10:1 “For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.” Colossians 2:14 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; Romans 10:4 “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth” With the availability of the written words and through the blood of Lord Jesus Christ poured on the cross for the payment of our sins - liberty from the letter of the word is being offered for free to everyone who will humble themselves to our Lord Jesus. Everyone has an access to the written word of God and there is a choice whether to avail or not of the everlasting life. 1 Corinthians 15:54 “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” 1 Corinthians 15:16 “For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 2 Corinthians. 3:14 "But their minds were blinded: [b]for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ." Colossians 2:12 “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:13 “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Matt. 5:17 “ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” Joh 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

God is revealing great things on this website. Envy and hatred reign as in the days of our Lord. No wonder it is constantly being hacked.
