No Sign, But the Sign of Jonah

- Why were the Scribes and Pharisees still asking Jesus for "signs from heaven" when they were witnesses to His great miracles?

- Why did our Lord call them "adulterous generation" when they were known zealous followers of the Ten Commandments?"

- If the "sign of Jonah" is simply the three days and three nights of our Lord in the tomb, thereafter His resurrection, why do people who know this "sign" cannot agree on many things about God and His words, just as the religious people were divided at that time?

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Hbr 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
