An Eye for an Eye

- How can Christ's statement, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill," be reconciled with His preaching of love instead of revenge as it refers to this Old Testament Law "eye for an eye?"

- What is "eye for an eye," "tooth for a tooth," "hand for hand," "foot for foot," "wound for wound," and "life for life?"

_________________________   Also, let me ask you? Do you know of anybody who would be interested in publishing my thesis about Jesus being Satan himself? _________________________   Will you please tell us here as to whom and how did you learn these " you say so " theories that you are expounding in this forum now? This is your third post and yet you do not tell us who taught you all these things. Please tell us if you may.     Stinger <bibletalk@purechristianity.org> wrote:
I'm not guessing Adlemsot, It would be very foolish for a man to blaspheme God! I told you, it took me more than 20 years before I had discovered the most shocking truth about Jesus. In fact, I loved, I prayed to and worshipped Jesus before. Also, I have once attended and studied several Christian denominations such as Catholic Charismatic, Baptist, Born-again, Evangelicals, Seventh Day Adventist, Jehovah's Witness, Mormons, and other Christian groups such as the Worldwide Church of God (Herbert W. Armstrong's Church). Let me expound a little bit my theory.... actually what had confounded the Christians to believe in the doctrine of the Trinity or the Father and Son concept was that, there are some confusing verses found in the Old Testament as in Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let Us make man in our image, after our likeness: ..." that seems to depict God's plurality when the simple explanation was that, God Almighty might have been meeting His high ranking angels for His plan to make a "man", and in this context God could simply be giving the said angels instructions on why and how He will accomplish it by involving some angels in making the man to conform in their "likeness". And the question is, what is meant by "likeness"? Isn't "likeness" can be made inherent like those of an angel? The answer is NO. Why? Let me put it this way, isn't the angels were also the sons of God who were also having the same likeness (i.e., holy and righteous character) and that God loves them? And when God talked to them, wouldn't it just right for Him to say to His "sons", "Let Us....?" Also, some of the righteous character are best gained by experience and experience involves 'time', like patience, temperance, and tolerance. That's why God told the Angels, "Let Us make man, in our likeness ... " because He wants the angels to be a part in making man righteous and perfect as time goes by, by teaching, guiding and helping man. That is what God meant when He said to the Angels "Let Us make man ... after Our likeness: ... " Now do you understand? And If you think that I have experienced any untoward incident that made me angry at Jesus, I'll tell you, non such thing happened to me whatsoever. It just occured to me while I was in deep meditation and searching the Scriptures one afternoon when it suddenly dawned on me the said Truth. I guess "THE END IS REALLY NEAR"! Btw, I think somebody or something is messing up with my email address since my previous email had just suddenly stop receiving any message.... strange.... I think I will need to make a new email again. Pls. wait, I'll post it in a little while. Also, let me ask you? Do you know of anybody who would be interested in publishing my thesis about Jesus being Satan himself? I WELCOME ANYBODY WHO IS CONCERN AND BRAVE ENOUGH TO HELP IN WARNING THE WHOLE WORLD ABOUT THE FUTILITY IN WORSHIPPING JESUS! Dear Adlemsot, Regarding your inquiry, "to whom and how did you learned these "you say so theories"..." Well, Imelda, with God's permission, I was able to discover it by myself. Also, I beg to disagree with your notion: "you say so" theories, since I based all my theories on "GOD SAY SO" scriptures! In fact what you have just read about my warning were only the tip of the iceberg, and once you'll be able to read my whole book, I assure you there is no turning back in your Christian Chuch were you belong! Already some Christians had already seen my solid evidences that prove without reasonable doubt that Jesus was Satan himself in disguised and that their initial reaction was: shock and speechless for sometime.... Now do want to see and read my book? But beware, what you are about to find out will change your belief forever. It was a burning bridge. My new email is "the1whosaw@hotmail.com" Sincerely, Stinger Man from the East
