This is one verse in the Holy Bible that has become so popular that caught many people for an easy salvation. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. May I know God's real revelation because I read "many are called, but only a few a chosen."

There are so many questions with this verse. To a natural man the entire verse is so easy to understand and can be explained very well. Let us not forget that God always open his mouth in parables. What is love from God? What world means? Why Jesus had been called begotten son? Since whole christianity believeth in Jesus, should they not perish? Humbling oneselves is only the key, to understand God explanation on this. Yes, since God is speaking in parables let alone give the meaning of His words. Let us not be taken in because He is using our own "language or dialect" to pesume we already understand what He means, like: "God" -- Everybody is talking about God. Who is HE to His chosen people? Let us remember, "Many are called, but only few are chosen." There are several articles regarding the identity of God and His LOVE in this website: GOD IDENTIFYING HIMSELF! Shall we not listen to Him? http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/God_Identifying_Himself%21 JESUS CHRIST OF THE (ORIGINAL) APOSTLES http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/Jesus_of_the_%28Original%29_Apostles LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/Let_Us_Make_Man_in_Our_Image CHRIST AND SATAN IN CONTRAST http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/Christ_and_Satan_in_Contrast THE GOD OF THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/God_of_the_Old_and_New_Testament "world" -- God speaks of the "world" or earth as having ears to listen to Him in: Jer 22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD. Therefore, to God "world" or "earth" does not refer to the inanimate object that we used to understand. Everybody knows that the "Only begotten Son of God is Jesus Christ." But why does God refer to JESUS as the "only" and "begotten Son"? Simon Peter recognized this in: Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. How many people accept that to recognize JESUS it needs the "revelation of the Father?" Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. To "many" people, who would not say that they do not believe in Jesus Christ? But to our Lord, "believing" means following His command in: Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Ignoring this command, there could never be endowment of "divine knowledge and wisdom" to KNOW God and to be given the benefit of HIS EXPOSITION OF HIS WORDS: Mat 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. The Natural Man (1 Cor. 2:14) typified by Saul of Tarsus (later known as Paul the apostle) thought acquiring divine knowledge and wisdom was learned from experts in the word of God as Gamaliel. Today, Gamaliel is the equivalent of the Theologians and Bible Scholars. But Saul never truly recognized the God he thought he was serving until our Lord JESUS introduced Himself to him on his way to Damascus. How many people realized this? Thus, Saul on truly recognizing His Lord, he was appointed as an apostle (Rom. 1:1) and was directly taught by our Lord, as it is written: Gal 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. Gal 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. So we just imagine how Satan is harvesting souls by deceiving the whole world, because of pride without the spiritual humility that our Lord Jesus showed by example: Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
