I am reminded of an instance when the Israelites were in the wilderness. Some of them complained because they lost appetite eating “manna,” which they called “light bread.” God sent fiery serpents and “bit the people to death.” Num 21:5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. Num 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. Num 21:7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. For people who have been bitten by serpents, God provided this remedy: Num 21:8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. Num 21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. I believe God has great spiritual revelations to this incident, and not just the literal or “letter” of the word. This serpent of brass even became justification for statues and images of certain Christians sects in their churches and houses today. But when the people began to “look up” at the serpent of brass that gave “life” to those who sinned againts God, God Himself told the people to destroy it. 2 Kings 18:4 He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan. Why can’t many people see the “letter” and the “spirit” of the word? 2 Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

why can't we, people in general, see that the Lord God is in total control and full command of everything and all things;  that for all the things unknown to men it is known and available to the Lord God should we just all bow down ourselves before the Lord God and learn to call to the Lord God in the right way. the Lord God is alive and is always available for all to teach the TRUTH  about all things. we do not have to ask each other should we learn how to trust the Lord God. nothing is impossible to God and God is for real.

Num 21:5  And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness?  for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. =============================================== Even after having been taken out from spiritual Egypt (slavery) and God was introduced to you. Everyone is still considered as babe concerning the truth and there is always the tendency to fall back to your former wordly life in worshipping God as it is written.
