Confession of a Lost Sheep

- Like a lost sheep, I was drifting and restless anxiously looking for the Shepherd.

- Unknown to me, the Shepherd was calling my name.

- We met each other, and this is my joy relating what happened.

Recognizing JESUS requires a “miracle.” This was demonstrated to Simon Peter when he clearly identified Him in the following: • Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? • Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the CHRIST, the SON of the living God. • Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Who is JESUS to many people claiming to know Him, and declaring He is the “Christ and the Son of the living God” as Simon Peter did? Are they not subject to His rebuke? • Joh 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: IF YE HAD KNOWN ME, YE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN MY FATHER ALSO. Simon Peter and other Apostles and Disciples are exempt from this rebuke. This is a clear sign that recognizing “Jesus as the Christ and the Son of the living God” requires divine revelation.

God's Word / power is now available to all via the Bible. In order to verify ' what is the Biblical Truth ' as opposed to say the trinitarian mistruths is easily verifiable. The Bereans demonstrate how by their excellent example - And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea : who coming [thither] went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. (Acts 17:10 - 11) KJV (My Bold) 1. . . . and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. (Acts 4:31) KJS So we see clearly that when filled with the Holy Ghost they also speak the word of God. In other words, when words are spoken by the Holy Ghost, they are the same words as spoken by God. 2. . . . by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; . . . (1 Pet. 1:12) KJS Therefore, after searching the scriptures as did the Bereans, God's Word / power again works miracles by revealing the non-trinitarian Truth that Peter and the early Apostles also recognised and taught.

The “bottom line” or start for salvation is true spiritual humility “like little children, babes, or suckling.” • Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Reason for “conversion” – to avoid the following taboos: • Jer 17:5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. • Prov 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. • Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Result after “conversion” – endowment of divine knowledge and wisdom: • Isa 28:9 KJV Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. • Luk 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. • 2 Tim 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Benefit from “conversion” – real “born again” • Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. • Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Visual spiritual effect from “conversion” – the “miracle” of transformation from “spiritual GOAT” to “spiritual SHEEP.” Thus, • Joh 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. • Joh 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. LESSON: We can never expect a “spiritual sheep” speaking the “language of the Lamb” and be understood by a “spiritual goat.” This was demonstrated by Jesus Christ as He spoke to the Scribes and Pharisees. And Jesus told His Disciples: • Mar 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: • Mar 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. PROOF for being a “spiritual GOAT” is, people are subject to the following rebuke of our Lord. By the way, the Scribes and Pharisees professed to know and love God, but: • Joh 8:54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55 Yet ye have not known him… • Joh 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
