Now I know that is not God's revelation. I am still waiting for Him.

[quote:b18211c317="art.barga"]Brethren, Any Revelation on this verse: Revelation 1:11 "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today…” Before I humbled myself as a “spiritual babe” I thought of Jesus “literally.” Thus, Jesus in person yesterday is the same Jesus today. However this is what I read: Jesus Christ is the Word: • Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. • Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. Jesus Christ is the Truth: • Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Therefore "Jesus Christ is the Truth in the Word." So the truth in the word yesterday must be same truth today. Since the Holy Bible contains the Word of God, and Truth is revealed by the Holy Spirit from it, the Holy Spirit by divine revelation from the word of God reveals the message of the Seven Churches ”yesterday and today.”

Subject: Mark 4:34
Has anybody among us received God’s revelation regarding the Seven Churches during the time of Christ? May we be reminded after our Lord Jesus told His Disciples about the “signs of the end time” in Mat 24, then He told them: • Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. • Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. I have yet to hear theologians and preachers expound on these two verses as they relate to the details enumerated by our Lord in Mat. 24. But we have an article on this believed to be God's divine revelation: THE END OF THE WORLD? (!) http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/The_End_of_the_World%3F! • Ever since, this is one topic of interest to Bible believers • Speculations on the matter at different times since the early centuries of Christianity have flourished extending almost 2000 years. • Hence the question, “…Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (2 Peter 3:4) • More mystifying is what our Lord said, “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” (Mat 24:34) Therefore, in like manner our Lord must have revealed the message of the “Seven Churches” during the time of His Disciples. Hence, let us wait for Him give to us the "spiritual food for the Seven Churches" He wants us to eat for our spiritual growth. After all did not God give us His words for the following reasons? * 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: * 2 Tim 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Revelation 1:11 "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. =============================================== "Seven "(7) represents completeness as in: Genesis 1:31 "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Genesis 2:2 "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made Genesis 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. As denoted above verses on "the seventh day" God rested for completing His work. "Church" is the wife of Christ in: Ephesians 5:23 "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church and he is the saviour of the body. Lord Jesus is the savior of the body as stated by the preceding verse. He is the Holy Ghost as written in: Acts 20:28 "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." John 7:39 "(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) Aside from what stated from foregoing verses, the body(church) is the temple of the Holy Ghost in: 1 Corinthians 6:19 "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" And it is written in: Revelation 3:11 "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth." Revelation 3:12 "These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth." The two candlesticks as written in the preceding verses are the two witnesses which are as written in: John 5:31 "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true." John 5:32 "There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true." John 8:17 "It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. " John 8:18 "I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me." Therefore, there should be two witnesses for the word to be true: 1) Jesus Christ (Word) Revelation 19:13 "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God" 2) God the Father (Jesus Christ's Spirit-Holy Spirit) J ohn 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." Ephesians 4:30 "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption)" And the subject seven churches are the seven candlesticks as written in: Revelation 1:20 "The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. Exactly, the church is the image of God and Jesus Christ is the eldest amongst His Brethren (Romans 8:29 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.") Being a candlestick/church one must have the truth which has the two witnesses. In spiritual life you are not on your own for the Spirit of the Lord is within you. Thus a church to be on its completeness and to attain perfection must undergo the processes Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. The church of Ephesus: Revelation 2:1 "Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;" Revelation 2:2 "I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:" Revelation 2:3 "And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted." Revelation 2:4 "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love" Revelation 2:5 "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." Revelation 2:6 "But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate." Revelation 2:7 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." This church characteristic is likened to Peter the apostle for he has all the attributes mentioned in Revelation 2:2-4. In Revelation 2:4, Peter for a short time left his first love (the word-Jesus Christ-the truth ) when he denied Him thrice, but returned and became steadfast in his faith to the word(Jesus Christ-the truth). He has repented not like Judas whom guilt has taken its toll to him otherwise he came back to his first love(the word-Jesus Christ-the truth ). In connection, please Iet me re-post an excerpt from Sister Aida's revelation from her previous posting: Quote, "From being CALLED a person becomes a CHOSEN ( those who found the TRUTH) then ELECT ( those that endured to the end ). The chosen, because they have found the truth, and JESUS is the TRUTH, they are married to God (here on earth ONLY). Those that remained faithful up to their last breath the same shall be married to Jesus Christ in the third heaven( this is the reality). As you can see from Rev. 2:2-4 among the chosen there can come another Judas ( those words of God are for them as the chosen are the only ones given the rights to teach having the truth in them) leaving their first love.In this situation they are divorced with God ." Unquote. Servants/Chosen hate the Nicolaitanes as our Lord hates them (Revelation 2:6). (Nicolaitans comes from the ME., Ofr. NICOLAS; L. NICOLAUS; Gr. NIKOLAOS <nike, victory + laos, the people. Thus, victory over the people). Also, in verse (Revelation 2:15 "So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate."). This is an excercise of authority or lordship to the people in imposing their doctrines pertaining God such as the Scribes and Pharisees, who also command a respect to their people. James 2:9 "But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors." Apparently, Revelation 2:1-7, is describing one of the attributes that the chosen of God (Church) must possess or the processes the church must undergo to attain its completeness or maturity-to be overcomer. =============================================== To my Brethren, How about sharing your revelations on the remaining churches. I believe that the spirit in you will reveal them as long as you will ask as written in James 1:5 and you must not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth as written in 2 Timothy 2:15. To others who registered to this website, this is an invitation to take the offer of salvation by the one true God and experience the joy of His love. All you have to do is to humble yourself by willing to convert as spiritual little children as written in : Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. " As little children who desire the sincere milk of the word as written in: 1 Peter 2:2 "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: " Because through the word of God you will be cleansed from your filthiness as written in: Ephesians 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;Ephesians 5:26 "That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word," Ezekiel 36:24 "For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land." Ezekiel 36:25 "Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you." You see friends, God's will is for everyone to be saved as written in: 1 Timothy 2:3 "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour(Acts 20:28);" 1 Timothy 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." But you must also have the will and humbleness to convert as spiritual little children as also written in verses: Mark 10:15 "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein." Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Psalms 69:32 "The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God." Only God knows who will humble and convert , you maybe amongst those that is why you stumbled this website. Brethren, I am sure not only I enjoy (blessed) reading the revelation God endowed to you on the Church at Ephesus, but to our brethren around the world as well. As His chosen vessel, we therefore look forward to your posts for God’s message to the “other churches.”

Subject: Smyrna
Revelation 2:8 "And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;" Revelation 2:9 "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. " Revelation 2:10 "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life" Revelation 2:11 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. ============================================= The chosen/church being addressed here by the Lord Jesus who is the first (alpha) and last (omega) and was dead and on the third day rose from the dead, is having its "Works" likened to Abraham's as written in: James 2:21 "Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? And faith with works is perfect as mentioned; James 2:22 "Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And should be working its salvation as written in: Phl 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Psalms 2:11 "Serve the LORD with fear, ..........." Joshua 24:14 "Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD." Ecclesiastes 12:13 "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." Proverbs 8:13 "The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate." Psalms 111:10 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever." Psalms 2:11 ".............., and rejoice with trembling " Luke 10:21 "In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight." 1 Chronicles 16:10 "Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD." Psalms 119:111 "Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicings of my heart." 3 John 1:3 "For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.." 3 John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." "Tribulation" - please let me re-post the revelation of Bro. Cristinolese's in his previous posting: Quote, "This is what God says of suffering and affliction for His chosen: Warning for preparedness: 1 Peter 4:12 "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you." 1 Thesalonians 3:4 "For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know." James 5:10 "Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience." Spiritual strength from examples: 1 Peter 2:21 "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps." Romans 8:35 "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" 2 Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. Evidence for enduring it: Galalatians 5:22 " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Zecariah 13:9 "And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God." Unquote. "Poverty (State of being Poor)", but rich is as written: The chosen/church must be poor in spirit as written in: Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Luke 7:22"Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. Luke 4:18"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 6:20"And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor for yours is the kingdom of God. James 2:5"Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? The preceding verses defined the "poor" are the one poor in the spirit of the world which as written is: 1 John 2:16 "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 2 Corinthians 8:9 "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. "the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried" Job 1:6" Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them." Job 1:7 "And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it." In above verses, sons of God presented themselves to the Lord along with them is Satan. Satan was asked by the Lord where he comes from and he replied to and from, walking up and down in the earth. Apparently, satan is with children of God for it is found as written in: Jeremiah 22:29 "O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD." For earth is a man who can hear the word of God and such predicament mentioned by Paul as written in: Romans 7:15 "For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I." Romans 7:19 "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." Romans 7:23 "But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members." you shall have tribulation ten days The proving of this church will be just like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah as written in: Daniel 1:12 "Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink." Daniel 1:15 "And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat." Daniel 1:17 "As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. During their proving they requested to be given pulse (an edible seed per encarta dictionary) and water for their sustenance. With that life support after ten days they became knowledgeable and full of wisdom because seed and water are found to be "faith" and "spiritual word of God" as written in: Matthew 17:20 "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Ephesians 5:26 "That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word These are the triasl and the processes the chosen/this church must triumph to receive the crown of life as written in: James 1:12 "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. =============================================== I encourage those visiting our website to take the free offer of salvation of Lord Jesus Christ. You can read all the articles instead of promoting unintended materials which are not the aim, interest and objective here. Please read the statement of faith of this website before posting and if you find it is not in line with yours, it will be appreciated if you will spare our website and not to post. Revelation 2:12 "And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; Revelation 2:13 "I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. " Revelation 2:14 "But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication" Revelation 2:15 "So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate." Revelation 2:16 "Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Revelation 2:17 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." ======================================================== Brethren, It is known to you that Lord Jesus is the one who has the sharp sword with two edges as it is written in: Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Brethren are also aware that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is as it is written: Revelation 19:13 "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God .” So, it is not surprising as mentioned in Revelation 2:13 that the servants of God and Satan have common dwelling which is the word of God. The difference is that Satan is dwelling in the physical-literal word of God (written) which are lies (Satan’s seat) in the absence of the revelation coming from God and the children of God dwell in spiritual word of God (written + its spiritual revelation from God). This church is holding fast the name/word of God which symbolizes "Antipas"- the slain faithful martyr of God which is Lord Jesus Christ as attested as it is written in: Romans 8:3 "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:" Yes Brethren, "Antipas" represents Lord Jesus Christ the sinful flesh, He is one of the two witnesses of the truth - the literal-physical word of God. John 5:31 "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.” The "faithful martyr", our Lord Jesus Christ as it is written in: Revelation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.“ Revelation 5:6 "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, ............" The faithful martyr has to die in order for His chosen to live through the promised inheritance. And it is confirmed as it is written that the physical-literal written word (Jesus Christ) as the serpent: Numbers 21:8 "And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live." Galatians 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:" John 3:14 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:" John 3:15 "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." This church is holding fast to Lord Jesus even before the Holy Spirit is not yet available, but remain through faith and you can read this as it is written in: John 6:67 "Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?” John 6:68 "Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life". It is the Holy Spirit that teaches the chosen or give life(spiritual meaning) to the written word as it is stated in: John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Evidence that the church without the Holy Spirit can not comprehend the word unless explained by the Lord as it is written in: Mark 7:17 "And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.” Mark 7:18 "And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, .........................."; Another verse that will attest to this: John 2:20 "Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? John 2:21 "But he spake of the temple of his body". Not until Christ has risen from the dead that the Holy Ghost/Spirit was given as witten in: John 2:22 "When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said". John 7:39 "(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)" Though God was introduced to every one of us. Everyone is still considered as babe concerning the truth and there is always the tendency to fall back to your former worldly life in worshipping God as it is written. Galatians 4:9 "But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?" Galatians 4:3 "Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:" The church will be under guidance of mature church until the Lord's time allowed for him to reach maturity as written in: Galatians 4:2 "But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father." In connection, please let me repost "an excerpt from my little sharing" three years ago.========================================================================= "Would you believe it is like a magic when He opens your spiritual eyes and ears. Let me share this with you, when I was at the lowest point of my physical life and nowhere to go, it was surprising that I still have the desire to know the one true God. God led me to a small organization that does not even have a church to call for their assembly and worship. They do not even have a name for their organization. A number of them do not even have higher education and a few or none at all have theological or formal bible schooling. We may consider them as obscure people if we will use our worldly judgement. All I know is that they let the bible interprets itself as in Isa 28:13 "But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, and there a little, that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken." or start reading from Isa 28:9 to 13. What they were reading and interpretation of the words from the bible are appealing to my ears and I like it - although, I do not understand what is being said. I can not grasp the teachings. I did continue to attend the service with my sincere hope and pray that somehow, someday my spiritual blindness and deafness will be cured. One day after so many months appealing for mercy to understand these people came like a magic in the middle of the service being conducted at that time. And this is my witness - as it written in Jeremiah 31:33 "But this shall be the covenant that I will make..After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall TEACH no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, KNOW the LORD: for they shall all KNOW me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD...". I never ceased to thank and praise God whenever I see someone with given and earned incredible authority by way of education and diploma in the words of God, but does not speak the language of the true God. How I wish that everyone, especially those who have the zealous of God can have the spirit to understand the word. It saddened me sometimes to encounter hardened-faith people that no matter how you tell them the way, but to no avail. I realized it is not for me or anyone who will teach him/her the truth, but only God and He knows when and where. Indeed, they are parables; they can only be deciphered by the seed of love given by Lord Jesus Christ and the word itself. I may not be the kind of person that He wants me to be this time, but I am praying and continuously asking for His mercy that I may be one of the overcomers. " ======================================================================== Underlined section from the preceding sharing is the stage of the church Pergamos.Being not yet touched by the Holy Spirit, but still holding on to our Lord Jesus through faith though swayed with by what he/she sees to knowledgeable brethren. At this stage of the church (Pergamos), the Lord Jesus is not much please because of the attributes of Cain and Balaam are still present in the church which as written in: Jude 1:11 "Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core." Cain offered the fruit of the ground (spirit of natural man-mind) that did not please the Lord as it is written: Genesis 4:3 "And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD." Genesis 4:5 "But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect..." And for Balaam being unrighteous as it is written in: 2 Peter 2:15 "Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;” To eat things sacrificed to idols and what is an idol as written? Is this not the one mentioned in: 1Corinthians 10:19 "What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? Deuteronomy 32:17 "They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Isa 41:29 " Behold , they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion." But what is confusion as written? James 3:16 "For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.” How about the wind, what is written pertaining to it? Ephesians 4:14 "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, “ Therefore, God considers these images an abomination because these are idols/gods and teachings that lead to spiritual death. Colossians 3:5 "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: Even when the Holy Spirit dwelled with in the church, intermittently, it is being overwhelmed by these attributes as experienced by Paul the Apostle as it is written: Romans 8:15 "For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I." Romans 8:16 "If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good." If the church does not "pray without ceasing" or not having a fellowship with the word such like attributes tend to create stumbling block to other churches just as Peter the apostle experienced as it is written in: Galatians 2:12 "For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.” Galatians 2:13 "And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. Creating a stumbling block to others who are not yet knowledgeable (the stage of this church- Pergamos) as written in: 1 Corinthians 8:10 "For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;" At this stage of the church a Nicolatians attribute as such of Paul being a Pharisee grew under the teachings of Gamaliel: Acts 22:3 “I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. Acts 5:34 “Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;" Still present and are not pleasing to the Lord Jesus Christ, this is why this church is being warned in: Revelation 2:16 "Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.” And this was demonstrated through the case of Paul the apostle. Acts 9:1 “And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, Acts 9:2 “And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. Acts 9:3 “And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:” Acts 9:4 “And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? This church is being counseled to repent (humble itself to the word of God) or else just like He did to Paul the apostle knowing he will humble himself to God, the word came to him suddenly and took away his soulfulness in following and worshipping God. Upon hearing the word/voice in Acts 9:4, he recognized the voice of his shepherd and asked who is He as it is written in: Acts 9:5 “And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” Acts 9:6 “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
