Subject: The power of the enemy
I have been a witness to some extraordinary phenomenon that the enemy of God “can touch the body.” I am referring to physical healing and other benefits, or unfavorably through diseases or other misfortune in life. Any feedback on the basis of truth in the word of God?

2Co:4:4: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. M't:4:8: Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; M't:4:9: And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

The power of the enemy has been consistent in deceiving people to win them on his side. Since the early creation in eden he was able to deceive Eve through his enticing words just as written in: Genesis 3:2 "And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:" Genesis 3:3 "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die." Genesis 3:4 "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:" Genesis 3:5 "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." The power of enemy is trying to mimic the power of God in physical aspects, but unknown to the enemy that God's power is beyond these things. But in the way the enemy knew still his power is not at par with God and this was shown in the encounter of Moses and Aaron with the Paraoh of Egypt and his wisemen and soccerers: Exodus 7:10 "And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent." Exodus 7:11 "Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments." Exodus 7:12 "For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods." It is no surprise that the power of enemy can mimic the power of God in physical aspects, but as demonstrated in above verses that the power of God is far superior. It is also written: 2 Corinthians 11:13 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ." 2 Corinthians 11:14 "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:15 "Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness." But this is the Lord Jesus has to say or His warning: Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:22 "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and IN THY NAME have cast out devils? and IN THY NAME done many wonderful works?" Matthew 7:23 "And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me." Further warning: Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." And is it worth to have all the things of this world for a certain period in exchange for the soul which the Lord Jesus will renew and be with as His temple and in eternity? Matthew 16:26 "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" To those who lust and after the worldly things, you have stumbled this website which is after the spiritual things of God why not take advantage of reading its articles instead of maligning it to the serious readers. Come and take the salvation which is freely given to those who will humble their self to the one true God. For to the household of God, the physical aspects or the basic needs of the body is only necessary while living in this world but never taken as prime importance. Most importantly they would like to subsist with the spiritual words of God while walking harmoniously with physical life using their faculties in this world. http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/Miracles_and_Wonders for it is somewhat related to the topic and to know the spiritual meaning of this.
