- This is a saga of how God opened my eyes to "see" Him.

- How God touched my "ears" to comprehend what He saying.

- And how God shouted at me and rose from the "dead" in my tomb.

 

GOD'S WONDERFUL "MIRACLE" ON ME

 

Ever since I was 12 years old, as Roman Catholic, I kept this obsession of clearly identifying God and Jesus Christ. I was taught there is only one God, yet in praying the "Apostles' Creed," we profess "The Son sits at the right hand of God." I implored a definite answer to the question and to my dismay, our nuns and priests from whom we get our religious education told us to just believe in the Holy Trinity for God is a mystery. God consists of three divine persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are ONE. Each person is God, but one is not the other two persons.

I have this yearning until my sister, a Benedictine nun, gave me a Bible to read, telling me to find what I was looking for. God must have known my obsession and, to my great amazement, He performed a wonderful "miracle" on me.

 

I read in Ezekiel 20:49 that God is speaking in parables, so was our Lord Jesus Christ prophesied to speak "dark sayings of old" (Psalms 78:2). I also read the instruction of God in finding the message to His words in Isaiah 28:10 "precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little."

 

Since God is speaking in parables, I found that only He through His words could, and should answer questions on and explain His words. This is revealed in Mark 4:34 where it is written, " But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples." I therefore earnestly asked God, questions about Jesus Christ and His clear identity. So I began asking Him the following questions (underscoring, boldfacing, and capitalization of words for emphasis). To my surprise, He revealed much more than what I have expected!

 

1. Lord, Who is the One True God in the Holy Bible?

1 Cor. 8:6 " But to us there is but ONE God, the FATHER… "

2. Lord, did you promise salvation to all that would believe in You? (In many verses, God made a covenant or testament to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and to their descendants, that to sum up they all mean salvation.)
3. Lord, is your testament of salvation limited only to the descendants of Abraham? How about us who belong to other nationalities?

Gal. 3:28 " THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free… 29And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. "

4. Lord, what is the requirement for the fulfillment of Your testament of salvation?

Heb. 9:16 " For where a TESTAMENT is, there must also of necessity be the DEATH of the TESTATOR. "

5. Lord, how could You fulfill Your testament by death when You are a Spirit (John 4:24 )?

1 Tim. 3:16 KJV only " And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh…"

6. Lord, Who is "this flesh" that You are referring to?

Phil. 2:6 " Who, being in the form of God … 7But made HIMSELF of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the DEATH OF THE CROSS. "

7. Lord, are You referring to Jesus Christ, the child born in Bethlehem ?

Matt. 1:23 " Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, GOD WITH US. "

8. Lord, how could You, the FATHER be the SON when You are relating with each other, and in many verses the SON was sent by the FATHER?

John 14:6 " Jesus saith unto him, I am the WAY… "

9. Lord, do You mean that as the WAY Jesus should be our example?

1 Pet 2:21 " For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, LEAVING US AN EXAMPLE, that ye should FOLLOW HIS STEPS. "

10. Lord, is there any other who could show the WAY to You, and be our EXAMPLE in our spiritual walk leading to spiritual perfection?

Rom. 3:23 " For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. "

 

Rom. 3:10 "… There is none righteous, no, not one: 11There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. "

11. Lord, is that the reason why You call JESUS CHRIST Your SON, when in truth He is You "in the flesh?"

The SON speaking:

 

John 14:28 "… I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. "

 

Rom. 8:29 " For whom he did foreknow…to be CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, that he might be the FIRSTBORN AMONG MANY BRETHREN. "

12. Lord, is that the reason why the Son Jesus Christ in the form of man called You His God?

John 20:17 " Jesus saith unto her…I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. "

13. Lord, did the death of JESUS CHRIST on the cross fulfill Your TESTAMENT OF SALVATION?

1 John 3:16 KJV only " Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us… "

 

The SON speaking:

 

John 8:24 (KJV only) " I said therefore unto you, that YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS: for if ye believe not that I AM HE, ye shall die in your sins. " (Plus many more verses)

 

The FATHER speaking:

 

Isa. 52:6 " Therefore my people SHALL KNOW MY NAME: therefore they shall know in that day that I AM HE that doth speak: BEHOLD, IT IS I. "

 

Isa. 43:10 " Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD…believe me, and understand that I AM HE: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. "

 

Isa. 44:6 " Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. "

 

14. Lord, now I can "see" that You confirmed this when You said:

The Father speaking:

 

Gen. 17: 1 " And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God. "

 

The Son Jesus Christ speaking:

 

Rev. 1:8 " I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. "

15. Lord, what is the INHERITANCE in Your testament?

Ezek 44:28 " And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I AM THEIR INHERITANCE…"

16. Lord, in Your testament who are the BENEFICIARIES to the inheritance?

Ezek 44.15 " …the PRIESTS…they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me…saith the Lord GOD. "

17. Lord, if the PRIESTS are the beneficiaries, how could I become a BENEFICIARY also?

1 Pet. 2:5 "Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy PRIESTHOOD, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."

 

Rev. 1:6 "And hath MADE US…PRIESTS unto God…"

18. Lord, how could I receive YOU as INHERITANCE when You are a frightening God?

Exo. 20:18 "And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. 19And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die."

19. Lord, did the Disciples of Christ expect to receive You as INHERITANCE although You are a frightening God?

John 7:39 "But this spake he of the SPIRIT, which they that believe on him should receive: for the HOLY GHOST was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)"

20. Lord, do You mean You are the HOLY GHOST with the characteristic of a DOVE?

Luke 3:22 "And the HOLY GHOST descended in a bodily shape like a DOVE…"

21. Lord, You have revealed to me that You are our LORD JESUS CHRIST in the flesh, and also the HOLY SPIRIT with the characteristics a dove. Could You please reveal to me how the SON is also the HOLY SPIRIT?

2 Cor. 3:17 "Now the LORD is that SPIRIT…"

22. Lord, now I can see that JESUS CHRIST has fulfilled His promise in the following, for if He is not the Holy Spirit then He would have been remiss of His promise:

Matt. 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I AM WITH YOU ALWAY(S), even unto the end of the world. Amen."

23. Lord, in several verses You promised to COME the 2 nd TIME. When will this be?

(The obvious: If JESUS CHRIST, who is the HOLY SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians 3:17, had not come the 2 nd time at Pentecost, then He would not have been true to His promise in Matt. 28:20!)

24. Lord, Jesus Christ ascended into heaven as written in Acts 1:10-11. How could the statement of "two men in white apparel, saying, this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven," if Jesus Christ has already come at Pentecost?

1 Cor. 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY (not intellectually, not of the senses, not emotionally), DISCERNED."

25. Lord, then what shall I be waiting for You in the future?

Heb. 9:28 "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him SHALL HE APPEAR the second time …."

 

1 John 3:2 " Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall APPEAR, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. "

26. Lord, how could You explain "the Son of Man sitting/standing at the right hand of God (many verses)?" To my senses and intellect, You, the Father and the Son cannot be one and the same.

Ezek. 20:49 "Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?"

 

Psa 78:2 "I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:"

27. Lord, what does Your "right hand" mean in your "spiritual language?"

Exo. 15:6 "Thy RIGHT HAND, O LORD, is become GLORIOUS IN POWER: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy."

 

Luke 22:69 "Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the RIGHT HAND of the POWER of God."

28. Lord, now I understand the meaning of "right hand" and it refers to the fullness or the totality of Your power that will be seen in the physical body of Jesus Christ.

Col. 2:9 "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."

 

Isa. 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor (Comforter), The mighty God, The everlasting Father… "

29. Lord, You have clearly revealed Yourself through Your words that, indeed, there is only One True God. You are the FATHER manifesting Yourself in the FLESH to fulfill Your promise of SALVATION. And now You take the characteristics of a DOVE to be acceptable to me as my inheritance. Truly, You are the Teacher and source of my spiritual strength.
30. Lord, have You already revealed Your NAME in the Old Testament?

Isa. 52:6 "Therefore my people SHALL KNOW MY NAME: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I."

 

31. Lord, do You mean that "Jehovah," "Yaweh," "I am that I am," are not Your name? What then is Your NAME and how did You reveal it to Your Disciples?

Matt. 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, BAPTIZING them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

32. Lord, what is Your name as revealed to the Disciples?

Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and BE BAPTIZED every one of you in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

 

Acts 8:12 "But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of JESUS CHRIST, they were BAPTIZED, both men and women."

 

Acts 19:5 "When they heard this, they were BAPTIZED in the NAME of the Lord JESUS."

33. Lord, I heard some people identifying You, the Father, as the Son and the Holy Spirit also. Could You show the distinction between the FALSE and the TRUE God?

Rev. 13:11 "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon."

34. Lord, do You mean You can be distinguished from the "false Christ" with Your "voice?" How?

Matt. 4:2 "And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered."

 

Matt. 4:3 ([Rev. 20:2]Satan, Dragon, Devil, Beast, Old Serpent speaking) "And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread."

 

35. Lord, I can see that Satan, Your look-alike in Rev. 13:11, speaks literally-physically of your HUNGER by telling You "to make the stones into bread to satisfy Your hunger?"
36. Lord, how about You, what message do You want to impart in your fasting?

Matt. 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

37. Lord, now I know that You really speak in PARABLES, and this You revealed to Jeremiah long time ago!

Jeremiah 15:16 "Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart…"

38. Lord, I fully understand the meaning of Your prophecy and can see this happening in our time, where real believers could hardly find Your "living bread."

Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 12And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it."

39. Lord, with Your clear introduction of Yourself to me, I can see that You did it before to Simon

Peter:

 

Matt. 16:15 "He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."

40. Lord, with this "miracle" that You have done to me, I now comprehend the great message of Your conversation with a Scribe who asked You which is the "first of all the commandments."

Mark 12:28 "And one of the scribes came, and… asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?"

 

a. Before, I thought Your answer was not even responsive to the question when You said:

 

Mark 12:29 "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord."

 

b. Now I know that You are referring to Your true and clear identity. Otherwise, You have not caused the following to be written by James:

 

James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe…"

 

c. It is very clear to me that Your true identity is a PREREQUISITE to the Two Great Commandments which You listed down after revealing the "first of all the commandments."

 

Mark 12:30 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart… 31And…Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

 

d. Truly, how could I love You without first having identified You, for "knowing must come before loving." To love You is to "love the TRUTH in Your words" for You are the TRUTH. Lord, I hope with this testimony I am lifting up Your words. And more than that, to follow Your "will" as our Lord Jesus showed by example.

 

41. Lord, with Your "spiritual language," now I understand what you mean by "loving my neighbor" in the following:

Matt. 25:31 "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

 

a) "For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat."

 

When I had not yet clearly identified You, I thought this means giving alms to the poor to buy food. Now I know that You are referring to spiritual food which is the TRUTH or the "living Word" given to those who are spiritually hungry -- the "poor in spirit"

 

Matt. 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

 

b) "I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: "

 

When I had not yet clearly identified You, I thought I would just give clean and fresh water to those who are thirsty. Now I know that You are referring to the Holy Spirit which You said is symbolized by "water" in the following:

 

John 7:37 " …Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) "

 

c) "I was a stranger, and ye took me in."

 

When I had not yet truly identified You, I thought You require me to welcome a stranger in my home who cannot afford to pay for board and lodging. Now I know You are referring to a "poor in spirit" who desires to be included in Your "household."

 

Eph. 2:19 "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:"

 

d) "Naked , and ye clothed me ."

 

Before, I thought I have to buy clothes for the destitute or impoverished. But now I know You are referring to the "garment of salvation" and the "robe of righteousness" to the people who are "poor in spirit," and these refer to the truth in Your words.

Isa. 61:10 "I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness…"

 

e) "I was sick, and ye visited me."

 

Before, I thought You are expecting me to visit the sick in hospitals or in their home. Now I know You require me to share the TRUTH to people who are "spiritually sick."

 

Psalms 41:4 "I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee."

 

f) "I was in prison, and ye came unto me ."

 

Before, like visiting the sick, I thought I would just visit and comfort the prisoners. Now I know that You require me to share the TRUTH to people who are spiritually bound by human precepts and religious tradition -- things that you condemned.

John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

42. LORD, You have revealed to me that the purpose of everything You said and done is to harvest SOULS, instead of BODIES. SOULS that will be Your eternal companions, instead BODIES that will only turn into dusts. Now I can discern the great message of Your miracles. Truly, Your words are spiritual (Rom. 7:14). Before, I thought they benefit the BODY. Now I can comprehend that it is the SOUL that is being benefited.

John 6:63 " It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. "

 

• Lord, now I can identify myself in the man born blind in John 9 who humbled himself before You:

John 9:35 " Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? 36He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. 38And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. "

 

• And I can see how You rebuked the Scribes and Pharisees who were not born blind yet they had not truly identified You:

 

John 9:39 " And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. 40And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? 41Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. "

 

• Lord, now I can identify myself in the man who was deaf and could not speak and You healed him! How could I narrate this Testimony if You had not performed the same "miracle" on me?

Mark 7:32 " And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him. 33And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears…and touched his tongue; 34And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. 35And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain. "

 

• Lord, I can identify myself among the lame that came to You and made them walk. Now I can "walk on the Way" which in Your human manifestation had shown.

Matt. 21:14 " And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. "

 

• Lord, I can identify myself in Your friend Lazarus whom You raised from the dead. I realized I was "dead" before I humbled myself before You.

Prov. 21:16 " The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead. "

 

Lord, truly You are speaking "spiritual things."

 

John 11:25 " Jesus said…I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die…"

I repeat God gave me much more than I have expected. He did not only identify Himself, but gave me a clear understanding of His words. Truly, "the Word was God" (John 1:1), and "Jesus Christ is the Word of God" (Rev. 19:13). Lord, for this wonderful "miracle," I praise and glorify You. Hallelujah!

A LOST SHEEP FOUND BY THE LORD

 

[ I do not reveal my name lest the readers' attention be diverted from the Word. My purpose is simply to proclaim that any person humbling himself/herself before God like a "little child" (Matt. 18:3) will be endowed with divine knowledge and wisdom, not otherwise given to the wise and the prudent (Matt. 11:25). ]
