- Perhaps one would wonder what correlation is there between Adam and blasphemy against the Holy Ghost or “sin that leads unto death.”

- Yet there is when God reveals the mystifying identity of the First and Last Adam.

- As a result, human perception of the First Adam and Jesus Christ is opened to question.

ADAM AND JESUS CHRIST AND SIN UNTO DEATH

(Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost)

Fundamental Truth in Christianity:

1. There is only one God because this religion is monotheistic.
2. Man was created in order for God to have eternal companions.
3. Man fell into sin and God had to rescue him with a Testament of Salvation so as to fulfill His plan.
4. Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is the sin that leads unto death and all others are only corollary to it.

1 Cor 15:45 “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”

Mat 12:31 “Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”

Advice and caution:

Here is a reminder of God’s way in reading the Sacred Scriptures. We cannot find God advising us taking the context of the story from a verse or several of them. Rather, reading the Holy Bible should be as follows:

Isa 28:10 KJV “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear."

2 Tim 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Very clear to the Natural Man the first Adam refers to the first man and the last Adam to Jesus Christ:

1 Cor 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”

Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

This is how God formed the first man:

Gen 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Gen 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him…”

Perhaps we are thinking, how could man be created “in the image of God” when God is a Spirit? (Joh 4:24) The similitude is gleaned in, just as the “first man” is a physical being, so is Jesus Christ, a man (1 Tim 2:5) , who is the image of the invisible God (Joh 14:8-9).

Col 1:15 “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.”

Jesus, like Adam at creation, has the same components of body, soul, and Spirit of God. This is the spiritual image of Jesus Christ:

Mat 12:18 “Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment…”

At the Fall, man lost the Spirit of God indicated when Adam and Eve were driven out of the Garden of Eden and denied access to the Tree of Life. It is on these premises that this short treatise is written. From the revelation of God of His words, the clear identity of Jesus Christ and the redemption of mankind from sin will be unfolded. The common belief is Adam, the first man, is the cause of the Fall with what is popularly known as the “original sin.”

Rom 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

Let God through His words introduce to us the First and Last Adam aside from what and how we recognize them. God’s introduction however is based on the assumption that we accept His “unique language” that the prophets call, “parables and dark sayings of old.”

Eze 20:49 “Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?”

Psa 78:2 “I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old.”

The Creation of Man

In the beginning God was alone. He created man in “His own image” in order to have eternal companions. Therefore out of Adam, God created Eve to become his wife.

Gen 2:21 “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”

Gen 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it…”

However God’s plan of having eternal companions was interrupted with the Fall of man into sin. This was caused by the temptation of Satan as Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden. As a result of the transgression of the commandment, man was denied access to the Tree of Life. This “tree” represents the habitation of God in man.

Gen 3:24 “So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”

Thereafter without the tree of life, man no longer was in the image of Jesus Christ, a “lamb” (Joh 1:29) . Therefore, the Fall caused man to change his image of a spiritual sheep to a spiritual goat (Mat 25:32-33) . The spiritual figure of man as goat is expressed in the following:

Psa 14:3 “They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

Rom 3:10 “…There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

As spiritual goats, peoples’ goodness always comes short of God’s standard of righteousness. Spiritual humility acknowledges this.

Isa 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…

Man became a Natural Man:

1 Cor 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

And no longer is man in the image of Jesus Christ, a Spiritual Man.

1 Cor 2:15 “But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”

As a result of the Fall, people no longer understand God because He speaks His unique spiritual language. Thus

Jer 5:21 “Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not.”

1 Cor 1:19 “…I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?”

Rom 10:2 “For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.”

Man can only perceive literal-physical things from the “letter” of the word. Hence the qualification of able ministers of God was revealed to Paul in:

2 Cor 3:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

The “called” and the “chosen” are distinguished by the way they “hear the voice” of the Shepherd. Jesus Christ told the multitudes that followed Him:

Joh 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

What does the “spirit quickeneth” mean? Give life to the “flesh or body” or the “dead letter” of the word?

Does the “flesh or body profiteth” from the words?”

Are the words literal or spiritual?

Rom 7:14 “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.”

What kind of “life” does the word give? Temporal or eternal?

2 Cor 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

While our common understanding of “spirit that quickeneth” refers to the Holy Spirit aiding our physical life, actually it is the “letter” of the word that is being “quickened or given life” after it is “nailed on the cross.”

Col 2:14 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”

Rom 7:6 “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”

It is from the spiritual meaning of the words that our Lord said:

Mat 5:18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Mat 24:35 “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

All these things about the word of God are made possible only by the revelation of the Holy Ghost giving “life” to them:

1 Cor 2:12 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

1 Cor 2:13 “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

Salvation is the restoration of the Tree of the Life to man bringing back his sheep image so that he could understand the spiritual “language of the Lamb.” After conversion man becomes Spiritual (1 Cor 2;15-16) and no longer is he limited to the “letter” of the word. This is revealed by Jesus in His parable after God accomplished His plan of having eternal companions:

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

Illustration for the “two languages”:

Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink…”

To the Natural Man (goat):

This is either taken literally as Satan told our Lord in the desert “to turn the stones into bread” to alleviate the empty stomach (Mat. 4:3), or to spiritualize it by performing good works for other people or fellowmen.

To the Spiritual Man (sheep):

However Jesus the “Lamb of God” countered, “man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God” (Mat. 4:4). Ever since, God never meant literal but rather spiritual hunger for the word of God:

Amo 8:11 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.”

Jer 15:16 “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.”

It is clear now what God meant by “hearing His words.” It does not simply refer to the “letter” but of the “spirit” of the word as written in 2 Cor. 3:6.

Salvation with the restoration of the Tree of Life

For God to accomplish His plan of having eternal companions, He had to restore whatever man had put out of order converting himself from spiritual sheep to goat. Man needs to have access to the Tree of Life again. This is SALVATION that everybody is talking about. But this cannot be accomplished unconditionally without God contradicting Himself. This refers to His warning of punishment for eating the fruits of the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of good and evil. Details is discussed in the articles, PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL Sin of Eve.

Gen 2:17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

Hence, salvation requires man’s conversion so as to carry on the image of a spiritual sheep again. This is how God will harvest souls in the end. And for Him to accomplish His plan, He had to make a covenant or testament with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (several verses).

Gen 17:7 “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.”

Salvation is evident from this covenant. For God to become the God of Abraham and his offspring, they have to be saved. This is where we hear Jesus telling the Samaritan woman by the well of Jacob.

Joh 4:22 “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.”

Taking the word of God to the “letter” (or literally), other nationalities are excluded from the covenant. However, God speaks parables (Ezek 20:49) . Therefore the question regarding salvation of other nationalities is resolved with the following.

Gal 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Evidently the condition for salvation is to belong to Christ by becoming a spiritual sheep like Him. However something needs to be cleared up because all Bible believers claim to belong to Christ. But He said:

Mat 22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Testing the spirits

So there is a need to test the spirits of people claiming they belong to Christ. It is easy to profess knowing Him and yet cannot agree on His identity.

Some say, “Jesus is only a man and not God”

Others say, “Jesus is only a mighty God for there is a supreme or Almighty God”

Still others say, “Jesus Christ is the name of the Father and the Holy Ghost”

Many say, “Jesus is both God and man and is the second person of the Trinity”

Therefore God devised a “test” as regards Jesus’ clear identification:

1 John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

1 John 4:2 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.”

1 John 4:3 “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

To expose deceitful claim, true identification of Jesus should be followed by the way truth in the word is obtained:

1 Cor 2:12 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

1 Cor 2:13 “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

The vital question is who JESUS CHRIST is before coming in the flesh? It is written Jesus is God and in many verses we read there is only One True God (Deut 6:4, Isa 43:10, 44:24, Mal 2:10, Mark 12:32, Eph 4:6, 1 Tim 2:5, James 2:19,) . Therefore:

Who is the God of Abraham and Simon Peter? What is His name? How does He speak? Literally or spiritually?

Who is the One True God that the “elect” (Mat 24:31) will be seeing and to be with in eternity?

Many preachers for failure to answer the questions, and to discourage inquisitiveness on the identity of God, simply say:

“The infinite Father God cannot be clearly identified with the finite mind of man! We will come to know Him only when we meet Him in heaven. Just believe what we say and don’t lose faith in God.”

Clearly this will put off further search of the Scriptures and ignore the power of God to reveal the mystery of His identity (Col 1:26) . This refreshes in our time what our Lord Jesus told His listeners:

Joh 5:39 “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

Mat 22:29 “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”

Joh 8:32 “… know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

The word of God does not pass away and this truth was “seen” already in the Old Testament . The chosen of God then were saved by faith in Jesus Christ long before His birth and crucifixion on the cross. They were epitomized by Abel who offered a “lamb” symbolizing Jesus Christ (Heb 11:1, 13) .

Heb 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Heb 11:13 “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them…”

Thus the warning at that time and now:

Hos 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me…”

Rom 10:2 “For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.”

Therefore, who is exempt from the following rebuke of our Lord?

Joh 8:19 “Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.”

Questions regarding the identity of God are never answered because many people trust people. They also lean unto their own understanding in recognizing Jesus that the identity of the Father remains a mystery.

Jer 17:5 “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm…”

Prov 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

How many people are aware that to identify Jesus it needs divine revelation (a miracle!)? This was demonstrated to Simon Peter:

Mat 16:15 “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Mat 16:17 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”

People may sincerely love God without knowing Him:

Jer 4:22 “For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding…”

Jer 9:6 Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.

Therefore they remain blind to His ways:

Jer 5:4 “Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.”

Jer 5:21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not: 22 Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence…?

Rom 10:2 “For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.”

Trusting on man’s intelligence, it is easy for many people to claim JESUS is the CHRIST. When asked what “Christ” means, they say, Savior, Redeemer, and the Anointed One. Yet many people fail to recognize the value of what Jesus told Simon Peter that to identify Him it needed the revelation of the Father. What is generally known of JESUS is His being the “Only begotten Son of God.” And this is where the mind of many people is focused:

Joh 6:38 “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”

Joh 5:19 “…Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do…”

Joh 14:28 “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you…I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.”

JESUS, the CHRIST

The Covenant or Testament of salvation is the key that would unlock the “mystery” of the identity of the One True God. In many verses it is written there is only One God, among them are the following:

Psa 86:10 “For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.”

Isa 43:10 “…that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”

Mal 2:10 “Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?”

God is identified as the Father in:

1 Cor 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him…”

Very clearly therefore, it was Father God who made the testament with Abraham in:

Gen 17:7 “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.”

This covenant must be the testament of salvation by which the offspring of Abraham would become the “chosen of God.” Jesus told the Samaritan woman about this that “salvation is of the Jews.”

Joh 4:22 “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.”

God through His words reveals the requirement for the fulfillment of His testament of salvation:

Heb 9:16 “For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.”

Father God, a Spirit, cannot fulfill His testament with death without manifesting Himself in the flesh. Hence,

1 Tim 3:16 (KJV, Bishops Bible) “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh…”

There is no other entity alluded to with this great mystery but Jesus in:

Phi 2:6 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

The fulfillment of the testament is confirmed in many verses as in:

1 Joh 3:16 KJV “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

What is difficult to accept, where human intelligence disrupts, is that God can never die by citing the following seemingly contradictory verse:

Num 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

The foregoing verse clearly refers to Father God (a Spirit) before manifesting Himself in the flesh. However, in the flesh God is called Emmanuel:

Mat 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

In the flesh, God was prophesied by Isaiah who would be called Savior or Redeemer:

Isa 45:15 “Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.”

Isa 44:24 “Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.”

This is the first coming of Christ in order to be with His chosen people:

Isa 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Joh 1:10 “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”

Daniel wrote about the coming of the Messiah heralding the “restoration and building of Jerusalem” which, in the spiritual realm, means salvation to His chosen people.

Dan 9:25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince…”

What many people say that “God can never die” fail to see Jesus’ death involves only His body. The soul and the Spirit, as the chosen at their physical death, remain as they are. Even then the body of Jesus was not subject to corruption (Psa 16:10, Acts 13:37) for it is unblemished (1 Pet 1:19) .

Ecc 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”

The following verses complement each other.

Father God speaking in the Old Testament:

Isa 43:11 “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”

This statement of the Father nullifies human perception from the “letter” of the word, that Jesus in His role as SON is the savior “sitting/standing at the right hand of God” (Mat 22:44) .

Mar 16:19 “So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Act 7:55 “But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of Go

The “spirit” of the word, however, indicates “right hand” means “power of God”:

Exo 15:6 “Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.”

Luk 22:69 “Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.”

Father God kept on insisting “He is He” that now clearly refers to Himself in His human body in His role as FATHER.

Isa 52:6 “Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.”

Jesus Christ after His resurrection no longer is His body corporeal, but eternal. He was visible when He wanted to show Himself and invisible when He did not want it.

As revealed to John:

1 Joh 5:20 “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”

1 Joh 3:16 (KJV, Bishop’s Bible) “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we...”

Jesus Christ confirmed this to His Disciples:

The name “Jehovah” is traced in the Jewish Encyclopedia, Vol. 7, page 88:

"The reading Jehovah is a comparatively recent invention. Jehovah is generally held to have been the invention of Pope Leo the 10th's Confessor, Peter Galatin (De Arcanis Catholic Veritates 1518, Folio XLIII), who was followed in the use of this hybrid form by Fagius Drusius. Van de Driesche, who lived between 1550 and 1616, was the first to ascribe to Peter Galatin the use of Jehovah, and this view has been taken since his day."

To note, the King James Version of the Holy Bible, published in 1611, adopted the name Jehovah. And later, “Yahweh” which found its popularity in the following:

The Samaritan pronunciation Jabe approaches the real sound of the Divine name. The other early writers transmit only abbreviations or corruptions of the sacred name. Inserting the vowels of Jabe into the original Hebrew consonant text, we obtain the form Jahveh (Yahweh), which has been generally accepted by modern scholars as the true pronunciation of the Divine name. It is not merely closely connected with the pronunciation of the ancient synagogue by means of the Samaritan tradition, but it also allows the legitimate derivation of all the abbreviations of the sacred name in the Old Testament.

This statement of Jesus points to His role as the FATHER fulfilling the testament of salvation with His death.

Joh 13:19 “Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.”

Jesus is referring to the time when He assumes the manifestation of Holy Ghost, who would then reveal the truth about His true identity (Joh 14:17, 16:13) .

In the following, look at the power of the truth for Jesus saying, “I am He.”

Joh 18:3 “Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. 4 Jesus therefore…said unto them, Whom seek ye? 5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.”

Joh 18:6 “As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.”

The Roman soldiers fell to the ground when they were about to take Him. “Falling to the ground”, where ground symbolizes man, denotes the Roman soldiers’ confirming as Natural Men had the courage to crucify Him on the cross.

Who can question from the foregoing revelations that Jesus in His role as FATHER is the CHRIST that means “Savior or Redeemer”? And now in the same role, Jesus confirms being the Creator (1 Cor 8:6 “But to us there is but one …Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”).

Neh 9:6 “Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein…”

Isa 44:24 “Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.”

Here is God in the flesh, Jesus in His role as FATHER:

Joh 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

And Jesus in His role as SON:

Joh 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Some questions:

Can the words be separated from the speaker?

Could there be words without the speaker?

Is the speaker and his words counted two entities?

Can the speaker be separated from his words?

Can we not know reconcile God’s revelation of His identity through His words?

Take note of this realization that Jesus in His role as SON can never be the Creator, for He Himself is a created being!

Col 3:10 “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.”

Joh 5:19 “… Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

From the following verses, the two roles of Jesus are clearly revealed:

Jesus in His role as FATHER

Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus in His role as SON

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.

Jesus in His role as FATHER

Col 1:16 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible…all things were created by him, and for him.”

Jesus in His role as SON

Joh 20:17 “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

It is therefore very clear that to fully comprehend this “mystery” of the identity of JESUS, it requires the “revelation of the Father.” Finally the application for “testing the spirits” is unveiled:

1 Joh 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

1 Joh 4:2 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Je
sus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.”

1 Joh 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

By their fruits ye shall know them

Who among professing apostles in our time confess “Jesus Christ come in the flesh” is FATHER GOD (Mal 2:10, 1 Tim. 3:16 KJV)? The result of the “test for spirits” is discernible “by the kind of fruits” these people preach about the truth in the word! Hence, the warning of our Lord:

Mat 7:14 “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits…”

Natural Men (1 Cor 2:14) think of “fruits” as referring to good manners, right conduct, good works, morality, and piety. These traits are common to members of Christian sects for this is the focus of their teachings. These can be found also on some zealous members of other religions who do not even accept the Holy Bible. The kind of “fruit of the Spirit” stated in Gal 5:22-23 that Natural Men have in mind can be counterfeited with self-discipline and mind conditioning. However, the kind of fruits referred to by our Lord to distinguish the true from the false apostles is revealed in the following:

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ…that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5 For when we were in the flesh, …which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.”

Rom 7:6 “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”

Who among professing apostles of Christ today have the following qualification to “bear fruits” pleasing to God?

2 Cor 3:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

Did Nicodemus a renowned teacher of the word qualify as “an able minister of the New Testament” who only took the “letter” of the word when confronted by Jesus Christ?

Joh 3:4 “Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?”

Were the Teachers/Doctors of the Law and Scribes and Pharisees qualified “able ministers of the New Testament” when they followed the law on TITHES to the “letter” which is contrary to the following?

Rom 10:4 “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”

Col 2:14 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”

Yet Jesus Christ said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” (Mat. 5:17) Jesus Christ fulfilled the law on TITHES spiritually as Paul did and enjoining the believers to follow him:

1 Cor 11:1 “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

Act 20:33 “I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. 34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.”

2 Thes 3:9 “Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us. 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”

Tithes and Offering

http://www.purechristianity.org/index.php/news/Tithes_and_Offering

How did our Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles follow the Law on Tithes and Offering?

What happened when God opened the windows of heaven in the past? Related to robbing God of tithes, what will happen if God open the windows of heaven?

Was the incident, Jesus Christ driving out the merchants in the temple selling doves and sheep, a simple story? Are not the words of God alive?

Also, for simply taking the “letter” of the word Jesus Christ is never be clearly identified. He proves this with His rebuke that cannot be avoided by people pretending to know Him whose recognition did not come from the “revelation of the Father.”

Joh 8:19 “Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.”

Don’t we hear from professing prophets of Christ that Father God is a mystery? To discourage further inquiry of His identity the following became a common pretext:

“The infinite Father God is a mystery incapable of clear identification with the finite mind of man. Just believe and don’t lose faith. If you try to comprehend the mystery of the Blessed Trinity you will lose your mind, but to deny it, you will lose your soul.”

JESUS, THE “ANOINTED ONE”

What is generally known of JESUS is His being the “Only begotten Son of God.” And this is where the mind of many people is focused.

Very clearly, here Jesus revealed His SECOND ROLE. God in the flesh had to perform this function to complete His plan for salvation. He has to show the way as model to His chosen. No man can take this role, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Thus:

1 Tim 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Rom 8:29 “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

1 Pet 2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.”

The following verses now convey a new perspective on the true identity of Jesus Christ!

Joh 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Joh 5:23 “That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.”

Isa 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given [as SON]: and the government shall be upon his shoulder [fullness of GODHEAD, ] : and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor [as Comforter or Holy Ghost], The mighty God [as FATHER], The everlasting Father [as FATHER] , The Prince of Peace [as SON].”

Unmistakably demonstrated, Jesus, the “God in the flesh,” revealed His TWO ROLES:

1. Jesus in His role as FATHER to fulfill His testament with death:

Jesus accepted worship that only God deserves (Mat 4:10, Isa 42:8 plus many more verses)

Jesus was addressed, “Lord, Master, Shepherd, Teacher, Father, and Rabbi that means Master or Teacher,” (Mat 23:8-9, Psa 111:9 more verses)

2. Jesus in His role as SON showed the way as model to the chosen:

Jesus prayed to and honored the Father (many verses)

Jesus submitted Himself fully to the Father (many verses)

Jesus did not accept He is good (Luke 18:18-19) .

Jesus showed He has God like His brethren (John 20:17, Mat. 27:46)

Jesus had the feeling of any man for the loss of a friend like any other human being (Joh 11:1, 14, 34-36).

Jesus suffered thirst (Joh 19:28).

Like any man, Jesus knows not the day and hour of His coming (Mar 13:32).

And now to pass the test, can we accept Jesus as the Christ in His role as Father points to the God in the Old Testament?

Joh 14:8 “Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”

The following is further confirmation of the dual role of Jesus:

Joh 4:34 “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me (as Son), and to finish his work (as Father).”

Deu 4:35 “Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD (“God in the flesh”) he is God (Spirit) ; there is none else beside him.”

Joh 5:37 “And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.”

Joh 15:23 “He that hateth me hateth my Father also.”

Who are not subject to the following rebuke who claim to know JESUS but at the same time declaring Father God is a mystery? This is the proof that recognition of Jesus came only “from flesh and blood” and “not by the revelation of the Father.”

Joh 8:19 “Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.”

Actually “born again”, the miracle of transformation from spiritual goat to sheep, is confirmed in the following:

Joh 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

Only spiritual sheep can “hear the voice” or understand the language of the Shepherd, a Lamb. Thus, the usual quotation intended for spiritual goats.

In the Old Testament books:

Isa 44:18 “They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.”

Isa 29:13 “Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: 14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.”

In the New Testament books:

Mat 13:13 “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive.”

Mat 13:15 “For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

Many gullible people who put their trust on professing apostles of Christ become victims of the following curse:

Jer 17:5 “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”

Many people trust professing apostles have divine revelation of God, but unknown to them they are limited to the “letter” of the word. Gullibility aggravates the situation dictated by the intellect and feeling.

Prov 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Jer 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Why can’t many people humble themselves “as babes” (Luke 20:21) to have the following benefits that God is just waiting to endow?

1 Cor 2:12 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

1 Cor 2:13 “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

The “spirit of the world” pertains to the soul or spirit of man that composes the intellect and feeling. These are the faculties condemned in Jeremiah 17:5, 9 and Proverbs 3:5. After avoiding these prohibitions, God is now given a free hand to have control of the chosen. This in the eyes of God is “acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior”.

Clear recognition of Jesus is a “secret thing”

Identifying Jesus can only come by “divine revelation.” This is the mystery revealed to His chosen:

Col 1:26 “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints.”

But to the Old Testament saints, by faith, this mystery about Jesus was revealed to them. Foremost among them is Abel who offered a “lamb” that symbolizes Jesus long before He was born and crucified on the cross.

Heb 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Heb 11:13 “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them…”

How many have seen this “miracle” of recognizing Jesus ? This is repeated for emphasis.

Mat 16:15 “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?”

Mat 16:16 “And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Mat 16:17 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”

No wonder Jesus told His Disciples not to tell anybody that He is the CHRIST. After Simon Peter recognized Him as the CHRIST and the SON of the living God, He told them:

Mat 16:20 “Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.”

Mar 3:12 “And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.”

Indeed God is speaking in parables for “outsiders not to see”:

Joh 9:39 “And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.”

Mar 4:11 “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.”

The following that used to muddle the identity of Jesus are now divinely cleared up.

Why Jesus in many verses said, He was sent by the Father:

Joh 5:37 “And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.”

Why Jesus at His baptism emerged from the water and the Father spoke, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.”

Mat 3:16 “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Why Jesus said it needs the testimony of the Father regarding His identity?

Joh 5:31 “If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. 32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.”

Joh 8:18 “I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.”

Why Jesus prayed to the Father on many occasions.

Joh 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:

Luk 23:34 “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.”

Why Jesus said He has God like Magdalene.

Joh 20:17 “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”

Plus many more instances and circumstances that the intellect and the senses (human wisdom) dictate Jesus is a distinct and separate entity from the Father.

This is the great lesson, that nobody can take the role God as the Teacher. Jesus appoints “apostles, evangelists, prophets, pastors, and teachers” not as the Natural Man understands. These people are simply to act as “speaker system” as our Lord speaks “over the microphone.” (This article attests to this subtle correlation. Without the sound emanating from the “microphone,” nothing should come out from them. If any, it is cacophony that is hard to the ears.)

THE “FIRST AND LAST ADAM”

Adam was formed out “of the dust of the ground” and when God breathed on him he became a living human being.

Gen 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Jesus Christ is alluded to as the last Adam and is cited in direct comparison with the first man Adam.

1 Cor 15:45 “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.”

1 Cor 15:47 “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”

“Man in the image of God”

Upon creation, how could man be in the image of God? God is a Spirit!

Gen 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

Clearly comprehended now is man, a physical being, in the beginning was in the image of Jesus Christ, who is also a physical being. Therefore just as Jesus is symbolized by a “lamb” (John 1:29) so was man that of a “sheep.” The Fall of man however erased this image. It required the testament of salvation to restore it. In the end, these “two images” of people for the saved and unsaved are cited by our Lord in:

Mat 25:31 “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

“In the beginning”

What is surprising is the statement after man became a “living soul” or alive.

Gen 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

Gen 5:2 “Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.”

Taking the “letter” of the word (literal meaning), in the two verses “male” refers to the First man and “female” to Eve, a woman. How could God give them only one name Adam?

By divine revelation this is related to the DUAL ROLE of Jesus who was typified by Adam. So follows the use of the plural pronoun for God.

Gen 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea…”

Gen 11:6 “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do… 7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.”

From the previous discussion about Jesus, a similitude of Adam, the question is cleared up with His “double role.”

Jesus’ role as FATHER (for male)

Jesus’ role as SON (as model to the chosen as spiritual wife, a woman)

These two roles of Jesus are clearly demonstrated in the following:

Isa 54:5 “For thy Maker is thine husband (Father’s role, male); the LORD of hosts is his name [Jesus, 1 Cor 8:6b] ; and thy Redeemer (the Christ, male) the Holy One of Israel (Son’s role, the Anointed One, female); The God of the whole earth shall he be called (fullness of the Godhead, 1 John 5:20, Col 2:9) .”

Adam a similitude of Jesus Christ

And so with Adam for his dual components, “male and female” both called of the same name “Adam.”

“Male” as husband

“Female” for wife

Adam was a physical being, so is Jesus.

Adam was put to sleep when God took a rib from him to form Eve.

Gen 2:21 “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”

Jesus was pierced with a sword on His side and “water and blood” oozed from the wound.

Joh 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

Out of this wound are the chosen “born of water and of the Spirit.”

Joh 3:5 “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

“Born again” is the “miracle of transformation” from Natural to Spiritual Man or from spiritual goat to sheep.

1 Cor 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

1 Cor 2:15 “But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”

Just as Eve became the wife of Adam, so are the Chosen become the “bride of Jesus” in His role as FATHER.

Rev 21:9 “…Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.”

Jer 3:14 “Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.”

Isa 54:5 “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.”

Adam was not deceived. However he also ate the fruits of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil out of his love for Eve, for him to bear the punishment due to the woman.

1 Tim 2:14 “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”

Gen 3:6 “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

Thus, the consequence:

Gen 3:17 “And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it… 8 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee…”

Jesus Christ unblemished of any offense “suffered the sins on the cross” out of His love for the chosen (spiritual female/women/wife) thus bailing them out of punishment due to them.

1 Pet t2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

“Born Again” is to be “born of water” where water symbolizes the word of God of which the chosen are to be totally immersed:

Eph 5:26 “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.”

Immersion means “Nothing added and nothing taken away.”

Deu 4:2 “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.”

Rev 22:18 …If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

And “Born Again” not only to be born of water, but of the “Spirit” as well where the Holy Ghost is to reveal the great spiritual message of the “letter” of the word. These are the “two witness” to the TRUTH. Therefore “born again” is to be born of the truth as Jesus is the TRUTH. Requisites for this spiritual “miracle”:

Required humility:

Mat 18:3 “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

Proof:

Luk 10:21 “…Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.”

Application:

1 Cor 2:12 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

1 Cor 2:13 “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

Therefore the equivalent of the creation of Eve “out of Adam” is the popular “born again” that qualifies a person to become the “spiritual wife of Jesus in His role as Father.” As a result, the person learns to be responsive to the following:

Jer 17:5 “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”

Prov 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

The FIRST and LAST Adam

Let us now look how the following apply to Jesus:

1 Tim 2:13 “For Adam was first formed (Jesus in His role as FATHER), then Eve (Jesus in His role as SON).”

1 Tim 2:14 “And Adam was not deceived (Jesus in His role as FATHER), but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.” (Jesus suffered the “punishment” for the chosen’s transgression.)

From the foregoing revelation of the relationship between husband and wife corresponding to the dual roles of Jesus as FATHER and SON, it is clear it is in His role as FATHER that Jesus saved or redeemed the real believers. It is therefore a grave error to see Jesus in His role as SON as the savior or redeemer. Thus,

Rom 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

Jesus’ warning on His role as the FATHER:

Joh 8:24 KJV “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”

(Something to think about: The general belief is that Jesus is limited to being just the Son of God. No wonder translators of almost all Bible versions omit the phrase, “I am he” in John 8:24. They substituted, “I claim to be,” “I am that I am,” or “I am the Christ” where Christ is simply perceived as the “Anointed One.” While professing Jesus is the Christ, Redeemer, or Savior, what is ensconced in the heart and mind is His being the “begotten Son of God” only.)

Let us remember the testament of salvation that requires the death of the maker or testator for its fulfillment (Heb 9:16) . In truth therefore, it is Jesus in His role as FATHER who is the savior or redeemer as He speaks in the following.

Isa 43:11 “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.”

The word “beside” nullifies the literal-physical perception of the Son Jesus standing or sitting at the right hand of the Father. Clearly Father God is referring to Jesus in His role as FATHER in the following:

Isa 52:6 “Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.”

Conclusion:

In reality it is Eve who was deceived by Satan with her physical sin that changed the “genus” or nature of man from spiritual sheep to spiritual goat. It was NOT Adam! And with her SPIRITUAL SIN , Eve represents mankind who, unwittingly, “eat the fruits of the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil,” symbolizing the SOUL whose attributes are the intellect and feeling.

Now it can be established, and without question, that it is to the “female” component of the FIRST ADAM that the phrase “by one man sin entered into the world” can be attributed.

Gen 5:2 “Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.”

Never does the FIRST ADAM with his “male” component account for these two kinds of sin. His participation in the commission of all these mesh on mankind is solely for his love of Eve. It is in this position do we see Jesus Christ. Out of His love for His chosen people, He suffered the consequence. This was revealed:

To prophet Isaiah:

Isa 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

To Simon Peter:

1 Pet 2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

To Paul:

Heb 9:28 “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

And to John the apostle:

1 Joh 4:10 “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

It is Jesus in His role as FATHER that typifies Adam with his “male” characteristic. Father God is the spiritual husband of the real believers.

Jer 3:14 “Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family…”

Isa 54:5 “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.”

We have to take note that never can Jesus in His role as SON be the spiritual husband, for He simply acted as model showing the way to the chosen. That is why He is called “firstborn,” (Col 1:5) the “first fruit,” and the “eldest Son of God (Rom 11:16).”

Rom 8:29 “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Therefore Jesus in His role as SON, like His brethren, is a spiritual wife to His role as FATHER.” Foolishness says the Natural Man!

1 Cor 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Now who is this “one man” referred to that “caused sin to enter into the world.”

Rom 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

Rom 5:19 “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

Since Adam is made up of “male and female” components, and God call “their name Adam ,” he should now be viewed of his “female” attribute. This corresponds to Jesus in His role as SON. However, for Adam’s “male” attribute, we should look at him in the similitude of Jesus in His role as FATHER.

Now the following is clearly comprehensible:

Gen 2:22 “And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”

Gen 2:24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

Jesus Christ made mention to the foregoing “male and female” references in the following:

Mat 19:4 “And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?”

[From the foregoing verses, a much deeper revelation regarding Jesus is uncovered. Adam with his male and female components and a similitude of Jesus in His role as FATHER and SON and the CHOSEN in relation to Jesus is clearly revealed (Joh 17). Unknown to many people, Jesus is the GOD (1 Joh 5:20) .]

BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST

Blasphemy is DISRESPECT or insolence. Disrespect is to DISREGARD the revelation of the Holy Ghost on the TRUTH. Insolence is imprudence as not to be concerned of what the Holy Spirit is revealing.

Who is the Holy Ghost?

The Disciples received the Holy Ghost at Pentecost. This is the literal culmination of the promised inheritance in the testament of salvation.

Act 2:1 “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

It was Father God who promised Himself to be the inheritance in His testament of salvation. Father God speaking:

Eze 44:28 “And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance….”

Father God promised this to the priests:

Eze 44:15 “…the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me…

God’s revelation of spiritual priests are His chosen people:

1 Pet 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood… a peculiar people…”

However Father God could not give Himself in His frightening form (Exo 20:18-19) that He had to take the amiable characteristics of a dove. Thus it is with that symbol that the Holy Ghost is known. Pentecost marks access to the Tree of Life again that was lost when man was driven out of the Garden of Eden (Gen 3:24).

Hard to comprehend for the Natural Man is that the “benefit of Pentecost” has been available to the chosen through FAITH (Eph 2:8, Rom 1:17, 3:28, Heb. 11:6) since the beginning. By divine revelation, God’s promises are realized even before the events relating to the facts happened physically. This is based on the truth, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever,” and He is the TRUTH.

Heb 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Heb 11:13 “These [Old Testament saints] all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”

Example: Abel had the revelation from the Holy Ghost when he offered “a lamb” that clearly symbolizes Jesus Christ dying on the cross. It is not because Abel was a herdsman tending sheep, and Cain offered “fruits of the ground” because he was a farmer that relates to their offering. The clue for Abel receiving the gift of faith is his being younger (Gen 4:1-2) than Cain. In this sense “younger” indicates “suckling” in the following:

Isa 28:9 KJV “Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.”

Abel had the “benefit of Pentecost,” while Cain did not. “Ground” symbolizes man (Gen 3:19) . Therefore the “offering” of Cain represents “fruits of human wisdom” that God condemns (1 Cor 1:19 .

David confirmed receiving the Holy Ghost as inheritance as Abel did:

Psa 16:5 “The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.”

From the foregoing facts therefore, the Holy Ghost is clearly identifiable as Father God Himself in His other manifestation. How many people realized the following?

Jesus commitment:

Joh 14:18 “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”

Joh 14:17 “Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

The comforter is the Holy Ghost.

Joh 14:26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Literally speaking and with human perception of spiritual things, Jesus is different and a distinct person from the Holy Ghost. However, could Jesus Christ be remiss of His promise? Jesus is the TRUTH and never can He tell a lie. Thus:

Mat 28:20 “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

How did Jesus fulfill His promise of “being with His Disciples till the end of the world” when many people think He is still in heaven? Clearly revealed Jesus is the Holy Ghost in the following:

2 Cor 3:17 “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

There is only one Lord and He is identified in the following:

1 Cor 8:6 “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

(Mark 12:29 “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.”)

The Spirit refers to the HOLY GHOST!

Joh 7:39 “(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”

Joh 15:26 “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.”

Joh 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty!”

The “truth shall make the chosen free” (Joh 8:32) from human perceptions, the dictate of the senses and intellect.

Prov 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Who among Bible believers today do not think that Jesus Christ is still in heaven that they are waiting for His SECOND COMING? They have not yet received divine revelation of the following that is actually a parable.

To trust man’s own understanding, Jesus Christ would have been remiss of His promise of “being with His Disciples till the end of the world” if He is yet to come! Is it not written that Jesus after His resurrection made Himself VISIBLE and INVISIBLE as He wished? All these truth about Him “and” the Holy Ghost is revealed to His chosen:

Col 1:26 “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints.”

But these things are hidden from people with “hearts of stone” long ago prophesied by Isaiah:

Isa 6:10 “Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.”

Jesus Christ comforted His Disciples from their tribulations and trials by revealing these “secret things” about Him and the Holy Ghost:

Mar 4:11 “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.”

Therefore, JESUS CHRIST HAS COME THE SECOND TIME ALREADY. He is the HOLY GHOST! What the real believers are waiting for is His SECOND APPEARANCE:

Heb 9:28 “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”

Jesus Christ has come in the life of the real believers when they are truly “born again of water and of Spirit.” Details discussed in the article: ‘BORN AGAIN”, The Key to Salvation.

Joh 3:5 “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

“Born again” is actually born of the TRUTH where “water” symbolizes the “letter” of the word (Eph 5:26) and “Spirit” is the revelation of the Holy Ghost on the real message. This marks the “miracle of conversion” from spiritual goat back to sheep image. Jesus Christ, the Shepherd, is symbolized by a “Lamb.” Thus only His flock of sheep can “hear (understand) the voice” of the Shepherd.

Truth “unseen” by many but discerned by “a few” people with the different manifestations of God:

That only Father God can introduce JESUS:

Mat 16:15 “He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Mat 16:17 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”

That only the Son Jesus can introduce FATHER GOD:

Mat 11:27 “All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.”

That only Father God can draw a person to Jesus:

Joh 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

That only the Holy Ghost can reveal Jesus is the LORD, and “The Lord our God is one Lord.”

1 Cor 12:3 “…and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.”

As the only Teacher, Jesus alone can make us understand that He is THE revelation of the Father. He does not encourage us to try to go beyond HIM in knowing the Father. No wonder Jesus told His Disciples not to introduce Him. Hence,

Mat 16:20 “Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.”

This seems to be contradictory to His command of preaching the gospel of truth:

Mar 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Very clearly Jesus emphasized the function of His chosen “apostles, evangelists, prophets, pastors and teachers, to act as “speaker system” only for it is He who has the sole authority to speak over the “microphone.” Therefore never should these servants of God appropriate the titles, for honor and glory exclusively belong to Him (Isa 42:8, Exo 34:14).

Eve, the “female” component of Adam

The “female” component of Adam is Eve, the counterpart of Jesus in His role as SON. Therefore the TESTAMENT of salvation was NOT fulfilled by Jesus in His role as SON, but rather in His role as FATHER. It is the rejection of this great revelation of the Holy Ghost on the identity of GOD, and JESUS a similitude of ADAM, that is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.

Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Mat 12:32 “And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”

This is the kind of sin that leads unto death:

1 Joh 5:16 “If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.”

1 Joh 5:17 “All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.”

For emphasis, the Testament of salvation was NOT fulfilled by Jesus in His role as SON, but with His role as FATHER. It is in this sense that our Lord Jesus spoke the following:

Joh 8:24 KJV “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”

And to which Jesus referred to the Father’s statement in:

Isa 52:6 “Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.”

The foregoing revelation from the “letter” of the word shed light on the following reference to Adam in his “female” component in contrast with JESUS in His role as FATHER:

1 Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

To emphasize the great significance of this truth, in many verses this is expounded for the chosen to look at the marvelous role of our Lord Jesus as the FATHER.

Rom 5:17 “For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”

Rom 5:19 “For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

Rom 5:18 “Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”

Rom 5:20 “Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound [Rom 3:20]. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.”

Hence our Lord Jesus gave this warning to His Disciples that hatred would come from people who cannot comprehend the divine relationship between the Father and the Son that refers to His two roles:

Joh 16:1 “These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. 2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. 3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.”

Admonition to all who believe the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God:

When Simon Peter truly recognized JESUS that He is the CHRIST and the SON of the living God, He told him, “flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto you, but my Father which is in heaven.” Today it is the Holy Ghost who is revealing this truth about JESUS, and in effect leads to the identification of God. Rejecting this clearly constitutes blasphemy against the HOLY GHOST for it is He who reveals the mystery of the identity of God and the great message of His words:

1 Joh 2:27 “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”

1 Cor 2:13 “Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”

The forgivable sin was demonstrated when a Roman soldier who participated in the crucifixion of Jesus was easily forgiven. However, to reject the truth identifying the true Christ leads to the “unforgivable sin that leads unto death. This is the sin of the religious leaders who denied the truth about JESUS CHRIST. They have not obeyed the “first or the “greatest” of all the commandments in answer to a query of a humble Scribe:

Mar 12:28 “And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?”

Mar 12:29 “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.”

Hence His sharp rebuke to the Scribes and Pharisees. This was not even directed to the murderers, thieves, idolaters, adulterers, and liars. The religious leaders led people astray for jumping to the succeeding commandments, “love of God” and that “of neighbor” whom they even misconstrue to be fellowmen .

Mat 23:13 “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.”

Mat 23:33 “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?”

To the chosen of God, the foregoing revelations of the FIRST and LAST ADAM, wherever they read the Sacred Scriptures the TWO ROLES of Jesus, and having identified the One True God, now resonates to the deepest meaning of God’s love and salvation. For examples:

How could Paul attest to the following if he were not thinking of Jesus in His role as SON as model?

Gal 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

Paul, as any real believer does, cannot imagine himself on the role of Jesus as the FATHER. Rather, it is on the role of Jesus as SON of God that refers to the “crucifixion” of the “old man” or old human nature as spiritual goat. In his “resurrection” he now takes the image of a “new man” – that of a spiritual sheep. This is a continuous process until spiritual perfection is attained:

Rom 6:6 “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”

1 Cor 15:31 “I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.”
