CHRISTIANITY: Yesterday and Today (Volume 1)
(46707 Reads ) This book may be God’s instrument of “seeing something remaining hidden” as it is written:
While many people claim Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today; can they equally claim He is the truth today in His sight?
We all know what Jesus found with the Word of God entrusted to the “seeds” of Abraham. They were divided and grossly enmeshed with different religious beliefs. While they professed to worship the God of Abraham and Moses, our Lord rebuked them.
People then were anxiously waiting for the promised Messiah. He had come! He was right before their eyes, but could not recognize Him. It took Judas with a kiss to identify Him. He called the religious leaders, “blind guides leading the blind.”
Today, everybody is waiting for the Second Coming of Christ. People seem “cannot see” or hear His promise:
Therefore who is Jesus Christ in relation to the Holy Spirit? 2 Cor. 3:17 “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
Can people today “see” the only Lord (1 Cor. 8:6b), and the Spirit (John 7:39)? How many pondered on this “mysterious contradictions” in the eyes of man?
Today, who can safely claim not being subject to this sharp rebuke of our Lord?
