- Why were the Scribes and Pharisees still asking Jesus for "signs from heaven" when they were witnesses to His great miracles?

- Why did our Lord call them "adulterous generation" when they were known zealous followers of the Ten Commandments?"

- If the "sign of Jonah" is simply the three days and three nights of our Lord in the tomb, thereafter His resurrection, why do people who know this "sign" cannot agree on many things about God and His words, just as the religious people were divided at that time?
